Mr. Michael, thanks for sharing your knowledge of the restoration claims process with the insurance companies.

We just had a fire in our basement. We are customers of SF. I am enjoying your video so far.
  • Thanks Chad from a fellow Texan. Had a hail storm in May of 2019 which damaged the roof on my home and motor home which I park in the driveway. I had the house claim completed ( full roof / part shingles, part metal roof addition ) . Now I am running into delays on the separate motor home claim - EPDM & lauan sub-roof damage. I will use your info and have my paperwork & photos ready to get Camping World and State Farm on the same page. You have a new subscriber. Now if we can regulate the RAIN, we will be sitting pretty. Hey Chad, lm new to the insurance claim work. I’m learning a lot from you videos and I really appreciate that. I’d like to maybe see a video on how the money is paid usually. Is it to the owner? Or jointly? What if the owner doesn’t want to pay you? I did a home rebuild, years ago, for my cousin’s home that was toranado damaged and when he got the money, he bought a car with it and wouldn’t pay me.

Great video, thanks Chad! This has been my experience with SF also. They are one of the best in my area (PA & MD) and will pay for every item you properly document and bill for. The only time we get denied supplements is after an appraisal. SF will hold to an appraisal award and not pay a dollar more, even if the supplement is for something that could not have been part of the appraisal (like plywood, for example). Another great reason to never go to appraisal unless absolutely necessary. Thanks again!
  • Pure gold! Ive really hit pay dirt discovering these videos. If youre a roofing contractor and don't know Chad Michael youre missing out and so is your business!
  • @jtjc4life
Thanks again, your videos are golden. Such good content

CHAD!!! This is the content that I have been waiting for!! I can't wait to hear about other carriers. For this video, the tip about re-submitting a different request to State Farm was most useful for me. The brick wall I have hit with State Farm is calling in about a supplement or invoice AFTER they have made notes to deny or tell me no, and the answer is the same, denied or no. I am about to re-submit supplements and invoices on numerous jobs now because of this tip!

For those who live in rural areas and have to deal with the same adjusters - NEVER send supplements to them unless you already know they aren't offended by supplements. You'd be amazed at the lengths some unruly adjusters will go to, to get back at you for things as simple as nailed in step flashing needing to be replaced after tear off... This timeline does change from time to time, but generally, 21 days after a State Farm inspection, the claim is moved to the desk adjusters or CAT Team. The desk adjusters usually have no emotions in the game. Pictures, building codes, city ordinances, and thourough explanations will usually get you where you need to be. State Farm desk adjusters deal with an insane amount of volume. If you don't take the time upfront to write a clean email and estimate with everything they need in it, then odds are it will not even be read or they will deny it just to get it out of their inbox. Do not expect much professionalism from them, as they hire literally anyone, but expect nice checks if you take the time.
  • Hey Chad. I have a claim thru an adjuster w State Farm and I’ve worked with him a bunch. Good guy. Overall claim got above $300,000 and it had to go to his supervisor. The supervisor chopped my mitigation bill in half. I have good documentation. Almost 400 pictures. I don’t want to rub this adjuster the wrong way but they cut it way too much for me to accept. It’s hurricane claim. Total gut. 4,200 Sq ft house. Coverage over $500,000. What should I do?
  • @blakehadel9436
What exactly is a new submission? New emails always go to same adjuster. How do get a new adjuster?
  • @jlukeparker1244
Mr. Chad Michael, Are the bonus materials within the training course available once you purchase or do you have to complete the course to access them? I have several state farm claims on schedule and want to go in as strong as possible.
