I love it how it can be a good while of silence when playing, but then the music starts out of nowhere and it manages to feel like the most serene and emotional tune you've heard.
  • I love how theres no cuts between instruments. He just flawlessly goes between each one and performs with no mistakes
  • This video made me experience nostalgia, sadness, happiness, inner peace, fear of death and absolute relaxation.
  • When I was a pre-K teacher, I would often play all minecraft music on a loop in the class (minus the nether music for obvious reasons) and the entire atmosphere of the classroom would be much calmer than the other classrooms. Naptime was also easier. I cant stand the classic lullabies and it gets really old, and the kids never really responded to it, but C418's minecraft music worked magic. When it was time for dancing, I would play the jukebox discs and they especially loved Strad which ironically is my favorite of the discs. Anyways, the handpans for Aria Math was beautiful as it is my absolute favorite of all soundtracks. Masterfully played, dude.

I remember playing Minecraft, hearing the music and going, “oh shoot, is the sun setting?” The music used to start at intervals during the day. Morning, noon, evening, and midnight, I believe. It was a kind reminder to check the time. Edit: I JUST LOOKED IT UP AND IT SAID, AND I QUOTE, “A random track is selected at sunrise, sunset, noon, and midnight. “ NO IT IS NOT FREAKING RANDOM. STOP LYING TO PEOPLE.

no nonsense. no long-winded explanations. no sponsors, no clickbait. three minutes. simple, clean, beautiful. minecraft music with cool instruments exactly as promised edit: never said sponsors were bad. just appreciated the simplicity here. saying something is good does not equal saying all other things are bad. the ability of youtube to turn any comment into a vicious argument is unmatched by literally any social media i have ever seen and it is embarrassing. keep it civil in my notifications i didn't ask for this
  • Im convinced it's impossible to listen to this without becoming immediately relaxed.
  • Somehow he portraits all feelings and emotions from this songs using just percussion... A year ago I did never knew I'm gonna love percussion more than everything else. True skill and talent, thanks Joe. As always fantastic!
  • @JovanLemon
We absolutely NEED a full Aria Math cover, that was too good

Your first block Your first dirt hut Your first portal Your first survival base Your first diamons pickaxe Your first dragon egg Its somewhere, lost, lost in the millions of forgotten minecraft worlds
  • Man, being an instrument lover myself, it is actually really satisfying and exhilarating to see the instruments behind the songs I've listened to for almost a decade
  • @purplemayhem
The fact that he used the exact instruments for almost all of them and it's so accurate so it sounds exactly like the actual song just makes me so unbelievably happy. I love the minecraft music
  • I like how the music actually sounds peaceful with the instruments used
  • @Spextrum1
in the next 20 years or less some kids won’t have ever known this amazing feel of this music
  • Man, I'm tearing up. Life used to be so different back then. Though it might be an old video, thank you for taking your time to make this video, Joe.
  • @jayparker768
Most of the classic Minecraft music sound like the little crib musicals you listened to as a baby to fall asleep. Maybe thats why it feels nostalgic/peaceful to listen. Its proof that music can make you feel and remember long forgotten memories.
