DMP #36 - Criminal Cult Leaders

Published 2024-04-28
In a slightly more serious (sometimes) podcast episode, Adam Mizner and Damo Mitchell discuss some of the hate that comes their way. Damo reads out an online article which paints himself and Adam as s3xually deviant, criminal cult leaders and the two of them respond.
Being in the public brings a lot of hatred these days and the two shine a light on the kind of attacks which are an almost daily part of their teaching lives.
Trigger warning: If sensitive, you should know that some dark topics are discussed.

The higher you fly the smaller you look in the eyes of the world. First of all I’m not in anyway a student of Damo but am a big fan…I’m 63 now and I can tell you people that both Domo’s books and his videos are some of the best I have ever seen bar none. He’s opened up the world of Nei Gong with honesty and integrity and I for one thank him for this. I understand more after reading Domo’s books and watching his videos in the last 4 years than I have in the past 40. People have no idea how restricted much of the information that Damo now gives out for free was… I suggest people ignore the vitriol that always exists on the internet, it’s just the way it is . I wish Damo a long life and good fortune. Oh, thanks for all your work mate and all the best in your future cultivation.

Adam takes an incredible amount of heat online, and anyone associated with him gets the tar brush. I had people question decades of my training because I said he’s legit. But his teaching has helped me move so far beyond where I was that I really couldn’t care less what those people think. Good for you guys not dropping names. The same people contacted me a while back and tried to convince me of this.

Old saying "A man of words and not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds and when those weeds begin to grow, then oh! what sorrow." I would say your gardens are well cultivated and the sorrow shall be theirs .

always appreciate the chance to hear you two in conversation !! thank you both!

Libel is written, slander is spoken. The deeper you put it in, the harder it is to work out. :D P.S. Good thing I'm the one Irish guy who doesn't eat potatoes! P.P.S. I'm actually glad you didn't name names. It wouldn't have achieved anything positive, although I'm sure it would have felt good in the short term. I had a great time listening to you two laughing off these extremely vicious lies anyway. Well played!
  • I really appreciate the both of you & have learnt so much from you sharing your knowledge on youtube for 'free' & Damo's books. Nothing but gratitude & respect to you both 🙏
  • Thanks for clarity on this dark topic, which I did not know about, as I am avoidant of most gossip type media. So much drama is due to people's fascination with celebrities' shadows, but never their own shadow. This teaching/chat seems to highlight the importance of allowing your inner boundary to push back on the external deformations that encroach on your feild of influence. And the elegance and power of character that you all do so with is evidence of a moral strength that raises my personal bar for defending against bullying in the outer arena of life. Sure, they say "all press is good press", and "free speech" blah blah blah, but when malicious attacks attempt to injure the hearts of your wives and families, or break the trust of your students and clients, defense is justified. If those unnamed perverts need motivation to behave, the remedy could be a hefty lean via notice or affidavit of rebuttal for lawful enforcement of your kind request for them to stop slandering you (depending on their country where they hold bank accounts). Sorry for the long rant. That kind of fuckery gets my satya a bit agrro. Sencerely, ~k🙏🏼

It's very sad and possibly a mentally illness that these people are slagging others off and putting B.S on the internet. I love these videos of Damo and Adam , fantastic stuff and thank you for sharing.

Great lesson in not buying in to haters. Money where your mouth is kind of walk, kudos to both of you.
  • @johnblouch1544
You guys are so cool 😎 I'd have been tempted to name my accusers too and you're right, it'll be better off in the long run to just turn the other cheek.
  • @jeffreyring9
I am glad you both addressed these matters. A bit of humor seems appropriate 😂😂 since these allegations are so silly.
  • @pudpudp
❤great talk! Funny😂 you two are the best!
  • Laughed my buns off about the smoking bit. It's appalling that some folks have the urge to write obvious lies. Great to see you 2 on a podcast again. I will drink to that. 🎉🎉🎉
