How many miles do you have on your Sportage? Share your miles and any problems below!
  • Got ours about 1 month ago. SX prestige hybrid. 600 miles and we love it. We ordered it and waited 355 days. We have 6 years/100k warranty on everything and 10y/200k power train. We had a Cadillac SRX and the KIA is a better vehicle for a lot less money. We love it so far.

I absolutely agree with you, dude!!! I got my wife the 2.5L gas engine one, with the 8-gear auto tranny, and I'm squeezing 40 mpg on the highway! Huge, pleasant surprise!!! Love the Sportage!

Great 50K review. I've been looking into this car and your review solidified my decision. Thanks!

I got my 2023 EX trim in January 2023, today 5/15/24 just turned 27k miles no issues at all, love and enjoy the car as much as I did my brand new 1988 IROC-Z when I was 24 y/o it has the 2.5 with 8 speed . The life average mpg is 38.7 but when I'm driving by my self on the trip to my kids house (375 miles door to door) I get as much as 44 mpg , that's with cruse control at 64 mph at 1600 rpm, driving around town it usually around hi 40s but it goes down when I idle while my wife goes to the grocery store, but still great fuel mileage , I do spend quite of bit of time at idle, South Florida heat requires a lot of A/C .

Thank you for this video! I have the SX trim and, like you, love it - no issues.
  • Bought my Sportage S two weeks ago. Love my Kia. Great space.šŸ˜Š

Iā€™m looking forward to seeing more of your river adventures. Hope your Kia continues to get you there and back again.

Appreciate your sharing your experience of 50,000 miles of driving the Sportage. Thanks and we'll done!

Now this is a real review! Thanks! I also own a hybrid, mine is a Hyundai Tucson 2022. I agree that the beeping when going in reverse is both annoying and embarrassing. Pedestrians routinely ignore it, and my neighbors get alerted when Iā€™m leaving the house.

This is such a great review: informative, pros & cons, and helpful!
  • Very good review. Last week I took the HEV GT Line version on the test drive and it was a very nice and positive surprise for me. I really enjoyed the ride quality on the bad roads. The suspension is very comfortable. The only complain I have is the wind noise above 120km/h (75 Mph) and I hope in the next version they will install double laminated glass in the front doors. I've already decided that I'll buy this car after the summer.

A practical honest review from a long time user - well done! My '24 Sportage hybrid Prestige SX is going to be delivered to me on Friday next week.

From my little bit of research, I have learned that the hybrids are made in South Korea whereas the NA versions are made in the US. Do you think there may be quality differences depending on where it is made? My impression is that the South Korean versions are made to a higher standard.

Looking forward to the 100,000 mile review šŸ¤© very informative!
  • Just have 500 miles on a 2024 sportage sx prestige HEV. Mine does not beep in reverse, just that heavenly chorus harmonic thing which I donā€™t mind. Hardly hear it inside the car. Ride quality and comfort is great. Gas mileage is getting better as it breaks in but still only about 32 mpg so far.
