I've said this from the beginning of PSVR2... If I only had Gran Turismo 7, the investment in PSVR2 would be worth it. (I play with my T300 wheel, three pedals and the stick shift). I'm still blown away to this day. It's a game\set up that could last a lifetime. And (!) no worrying about a broken Sense controller halting playtime! The in headset graphics are pretty darn close, too. A lot closer to the flat screen experience than Drive Club VR on the OG PSVR (and Dirt, too, for that matter). Great shout out Jammy!

Try turning all the HUD off for extra immersion and just drive like real life, watch the cars in front of you to see when to break, I swear this has made me a faster driver.
  • Best way to introduce someone to vr even if they're not in to sim racing is to put the headset on them but you do the driving like they're the passenger, me and the Mrs do this and as long as she looks the way I need to drive its good fun lol, we recommend trying this guys.

GT7 also outputs telemetry data, so.... If you did happen to also have a PC and a motion simulator... You can hook the game up to the motion simulator too! ❤

Love this game In both vr and flat! But so much more immersive in vr. Looks so amazing in the rain especially.

I don't think most people understand how simply accessible it is to play this Game. Yep, its on a console. Yep, PC hardware is generally higher then consoles. But for the level of polish and commitment to this the developer has had with this franchise alone over the decades, its something in VR that needs to be experienced to be respected. Plug and play at its finest.

funny i spent thousands of $$$ just for GT7... the game that came with my first ps5 bundle that I didn't touch for months until i tried PSVR2... and down the rabbit hole i went... hori RWA wheel and NLR stand lite was first, then to g923 on GT track seat... now i also got TGT2 on wheel stand with sparco 383, sparco handbrake and TH8A with NH8 seat vibration on Xrocker seat with NLR stand 2.0, now i am setting up TSXW build for a FH5 and FMS7 for my xbSx and pc... i spent more than any of my cars 😂... and that is coming from a guy who never played racing games as much and was not into racing sims... I'M NOW ENLIGHTENED THANKS TO PSVR2/PS5/GT7... ❤❤❤ ... Also being a fan of AudiTT, driving 3.2L VR6 Mk2 TT quattro IRL, i enjoyed it more modding all 3 generations of AudiTTs while grinding...

It is the most fun I've ever had playing any video game at both home and at any arcade. 300+ hours in GT7, and I would have stopped 200 hours ago if not for PSVR2 and a wheel/pedal setup.

I've been trying out both the PSVR2 and the Meta Quest 3 (for PC), and the immersion is mind-blowing. While the graphics can't quite match a top-end 4K flat screen yet, they're still really impressive. But the real star of the show is the feeling of presence. Being in the driver's seat yourself makes a huge difference!
  • It's crazy all the things that you clearly notice on the psvr2 like the marshals waving flags I hardly notice them in flat screen
  • Playing this in V.R. blows me away every time. It's fantastic. Tried a race on flat-screen the other night...just not the same at all.
  • @monkeyswift100
I wish they would bring Wreakfest to PSVR2 coz its already got racing wheel compatibility
  • I’ve played this solely in VR since its release/update for the platform and I honestly can NOT go back to flat screen racing. It only took me a few days to match my ‘flatscreen times’ to VR2 - and it’s sooooo much better in every aspect. There really is no going back once you’ve VR’d. The only downer is some VGT’s don’t have cockpit views, but even the ‘on the roof’ aspect ratio isn’t bad at all though and is actually beneficial on some tracks.
  • @HYPH4ZE
I loved the words you used to explain why you feel a greater sense of speed in VR rather than flat-screen. It's always a challenge to explain this to people who have never experienced VR.
  • @AmigaVR
I agree with all of that, love the game. Makes me wonder how great the next GT will be in VR.
  • I'll brought a fanatec set up to upgrade from the G29 for gran turismo 7 which was awesome but with the psvr2 it's a hole new experience blown away, everyone should try this just once to show the psvr2's potential
  • @KemBroVids
Excellent explanation of the advantages of PSVR2. Simply the most immersive sim driving experience for me as well. Easily the most played.
  • @TheVVumpus
It’s just amazing. Nothing like racing my real life MX-5 ND2 in VR, after tweaking the setup to have the same handling.
  • @JELLYMOTONZ
psvr2 with a wheel and a buttkicker running thru simhub is totally amazing.
  • I don’t find it a problem with it being a little different to a fat game in graphics as it’s not that much different and it’s amazing being in the game not looking at the game. Amazing video thank you
