Y’know, I tend to talk about Naruto’s loneliness and lack of a true family in his early years. While blood doesn’t truly make a family and we see this in action when he is assigned to Team 7, it remains true that he didn’t have a blood family OR adoptive family when he needed it. Hiruzen was there, but… I mean… Hiruzen really just did the bare minimum. I know he was Hokage and all. But seriously. Bare minimum. Naruto lacked that one thing every child needs growing up. It’s as vital to their life as the food they eat and the water they drink. Love. And because he lacked that, he began to crave it. This manifested in many things, such as mischief in an attempt to get some form of attention, even if it was negative. It also manifested in fierce loyalty. Naruto had few friends, and because he had few friends, those he had, he cherished more than his own life, and would do anything to hold on to them. His bond with Sasuke symbolizes that. Naruto is a good person. I’m just gonna say it. He is genuinely a good person, and the sad truth is, he became good because nobody around him ever showed him love. He was the only one to truly understand the value of love, because he was one of those who had to live without it. Sakura in a way is a direct opposite to Naruto, being that she has a family. They are overbearing, embarrassing, and annoying. And there have been times when Sakura has stated that Naruto and Sasuke are lucky. The movie Road to Ninja goes off of this a little further by allowing Naruto and Sakura to switch circumstances. While Sakura initially feels free, she slowly begins to realize that this freedom is a solitary one. She really begins to understand Naruto on a deeper level by walking a mile in his shoes, which I thought was a nice touch for the movie. And it further grows sadder when Naruto realizes that, though he doesn’t want to leave the Limited Tsukuyomi, he still finishes the job, sacrificing a world where he could have been happy. But isn’t that just the story of his life? Sacrifice everything for someone else. He bears so much responsibility at every point in his life, which makes for a legendary story for an equally legendary Hokage. Due to the fact that I always seem to focus on Naruto’s loneliness all the time, I felt that a nice change of pace is in order. Instead of focussing on what he didn’t have, let’s take a look back at the family he DOES have. This will be slightly loose, as I will add in distant cousins and adopted family members as well. It will be super messy, but the real point of this is to observe all of Naruto’s family. So turn that frown upside down and let’s observe those who ALWAYS loved Naruto instead of worrying about those who didn’t.

  • Being a Hokage is literally in naruto's blood he's got Hashirama,Tobirama,Minato, And Tsunade which means his family makes up a good majority of the hokage
  • Actually, at Naruto’s request Iruka attended the wedding as his father, not his best man. I loved that they did that in the end 🥹
  • @blaster36000
Naruto: The boy who had nothing, only to win it all. Boruto: The boy who had everything, only to lose it all.
  • Fun fact: Naruto considers everyone in the Leaf his family. Including Kurama.
  • @Nothing-141
This is a reason why Naruto is the number 1 best anime of all time. It brings good joy to our hearts and what it means to handle life.
  • @yann555
not experiencing love and attention usually would mess up a child's brain so badly that eventually they could even seek revenge. Meaning Naruto had every right to become evil but he decided to look at love at a different angle. thats why Naruto has remained one of my favorite animes
  • I just realised that himawari is actually completely overpowered even borushiki won't stand a chance himawari is gonna awaken mongekyo bykugan
  • Fun Fact: Naruto's hair was originally supposed to be Red like Kushina ❤️
  • You've forgotten about Ichiraku and how he was part of Naruto by how he would sometime serve Naruto ramen even if he didn't have any currency to pay for it.
  • Finally not a what if video! But... Video idea: What if Danzo never existed?
  • @hagarnegm8799
I think Sasuke also should consider a member of Naruto family not just for the blood line but for the brother bond they shared
  • @kiddeath1302
The fact he actually had distant relatives but was basically forced into alienation a majority of the time is crazy . Even the fact the gloss over he literally had two distant relatives within Nagato and Karin .
  • @shashanksam
Karin left the country with her family and was used as a healing toy. being bitten mercilessly by everyone in war for many years and her mom died for the same reason, that's a really important story line that's missed!😢
  • @sv69n
Day 3 of asking The Amagi to do a What If Naruto had his mother's look and his father's personality.
  • @TheLucidWay
It’s funny that you mention rewatching the series because that’s exactly what I’m doing now. Every time I see Kakashi and Naruto in the same frame during the chunnin exams I say to myself, “6th and 7th…”
  • @Vegeta900X
Considering the Red hair of Gaara and his father the Kazekage clan do definitely have some Uzumaki blood running through their veins so Gaara, Kankuro and Temari are also part of his family.
  • One love the video, but like I’ve said before not every ninja in Naruto has a clan, minato doesn’t have a clan that’s just his last name! I can back this up with Sakura for example she doesn’t have a clan just her family’s last name, clans were form because of powerful jutsu or keke genkai 👌🏽 2 Iruka played the role of Naruto’s honorary father at his wedding, because his father Minato died👍🏽 still love the video
  • Neji is Himawari and Boruto's first cousin once removed, not second cousin once removed.
