  • When the narrator said Yvette Mimeux was Yvet Mimo I had had enough. It's not only the narrator it's also the incompetent people behind her. Show some respect to these people and their fans.
  • The first black actor to win an Oscar was Hattie McDaniel in "Gone with the wind". Not Sidney Poitier.
  • I was so sad when Ms. Angela Lansbury passed away. I loved her in, "Murder, She Wrote" and one of my favourite black and white movies, "The Court Jester' with Danny Kaye. Ms. Lansbury was always cast as the 2nd leading lady in movies. I thought that her diction and her phrasing and the emotion she could inflect in her voice in 'Murder, She Wrote' was simply amazing! May she rest in peace.

Oh my goodness. Most of the time when these videos come on, I hardly know any of the people but there are so many actors that have been icons over the years. Very famous people. All but a few died at a very old age. I give my thanks to all of them for many wonderful years of entertainment. RIP all of you. You have earned your place in actor's heaven.

  • Sidney Poitier was NOT the first black actor to win an academy award! It was Hattie McDaniels for her roll in "Gone With The Wind"!!!!!
  • Betty White was older she died at 99 yrs of age 12/31/22. Alot of mistakes in this video.
  • I grew up with a lot of these people, watching them from the black & white shows right on up until their deaths. I loved watching the old black & white movies as a kid , mostly because I watched them with my daddy. I loved doing that, but I loss both of my parents years ago. All these people will be missed & never forgotten in my lifetime. May they all R.I. P. as the Lord holds them in his hands . 😇s , 🙏s & ❤️. My thoughts & prayers go out to the families & friends.
  • Mind boggling how many younger actors have passed also in the last 2 years.
