  • I actually went through something similar with my family ... Still going through it . I'm a Christian and I don't think it can do the most active stuff because I fight it.. trusting Jesus. But, I'm isolated and it has an advantage. I believe this is why my health is bad. If you're a real Christian reading this .. pray for me , ok? Thanks a bunch

Unfortunately, people will put their entire belief and faith into one single priest, (in this example with the Catholic priest who came to the house) of the church, even when that priest may be unqualified. Had the mother in law been truthful and upfront with the church, perhaps they would have sent a priest who was qualified to do such things as exorcisms and such. But she wasn't, and they sent just the local parish priest, who obviously sensed the presence, but also obviously had no expertise or training in dealing with it. The church has priests specifically trained for such things. Your average everyday priest is not going to be trained fir this, and may have not ever even witnessed anything like this. My point is, is to say or think the church "failed" them, is entirely wrong. Had the church been given the whole story, and sent a priest who was qualified to do what needed to be done, the outcome would have been very different. Again, unfortunately many people don't know this, and just think one priest is as good as any other priest. But thats not the case at all. Lastly: To say the Warrens also "failed", is not accurate. They tried to help, but the priest they sent wasn't allowed into the house. The possessed father in law, (likely acting by demonic influence) wouldn't allow the exorcist in the home, KNOWING he would have cast the demon out. This is futher proved by the fact the family let dozens of other people in the house to try. No threat to the demon, so they were let in. But the ONE person that would have got the demon out, the possessed father in law denied to let come in. That says it all. The entity wasn't even allowed to SAY anything bad about the Warrens. Sadly, Debbie Moffit is very confused about all this, since she doesn't know the clever way in how the demonic work to achieve their agenda. Demons are incredibly intelligent. So, what else could the Warrens do? After all, Ed and Lorraine never claimed to be priests themselves, they relied on qualified priests when an exorcism was needed. And when they sent that qualified priest, the family didn't allow him to do the exorcism. So I think its terribly inaccurate and unfair to say "The Warrens couldn't help". Because they tried to but weren't allowed to help. (Not discussed in this interview, but has been discussed in other interviews) And to say otherwise either means this person knew nothing about how the Warrens worked (which Im sure they must have explained) OR, this person wants to claim that this entity was beyond the Warrens ability. Which may be the case by the way she tells it, but is inaccurate since the family wouldn't allow the Warrens priest to do what was needed.
  • This woman is a warrior for god. I could not imagine having to go through something like that. Life is hard enough. Is the book available at a local barnes & noble?

Deb, we were fascinated by your story. The hell you went through was literally hell! Thank you for talking about it now because you can. Too bad it wasn't this day and age you would have had help. The priest that came to your house was bad! But I'm sure he was scared. That might have said something to him and he didn't want to repeat it. The exorcist priest now days would have come in it's not like it used to be thank God!

Its a no brainer, you tell the cops, they'll work through it, if you say nothing a guilty person may get away with a crime, all little pieces help to build a picture this is why so much crime goes unsolved
  • @Soya22181
