    Of course you could also zoom in or out while moving the camera but it's very difficult to get a smooth effect, especially with pinch-zoom... Up to you 🤷🏻‍♂️😎

    Or if you want to put actual effort into it, you can set up a simple dolly system by using an office rolling chair. While you move yourself back or have a buddy help you, physically zoom in your phone's camera. I guarantee you it's going to look a lot like the actual shot you're trying to replicate.

    Just zoom in, hit record, then zoom out while getting closer to the subject

    I use Protake and The app has Zoom tagging so that you can zoom in while you go away from the subject. No edits needed.

    Filmic in app programmable focus / zoom pull. But this looks so much easier.

    There's an alternative method for this which requires no editing: Start recordjng and just move away from the subject and simultaneously zoom in and you will get the dolly zoom effect.
