In our culture of convenience, I think we've lost touch with the seasons. Living with the seasons especially as women is so much more than flowers in the spring. I hope this video will help you embrace fully these last few weeks of summer and maybe make your life a little easier rather effortlessly in the process. Let's enjoy summer, before its over.

Have you tried embracing the seasons? 🌞
  • @maureenw6065
I would be embarrassed to admit how many times I have watched your videos over and over again. Madisun, you have made me appreciate being a wife and mom in ways I never thought I could. You are an inspiration and your content has been a blessing to me in more ways than you’ll ever know! Thank you for using and sharing the gifts God has given you!

Bringing in the bigger table to hold your growing family is such a blessing! My mom had to do this herself recently and you could just see in her eyes that this was a moment she had been dreaming of for a long time. This perspective on the seasons is so good Madi! ❤ Thank you!

This year We've been using our camping tent in our backyard! We've enjoyed so much the summer evenings... it was such a great idea!
  • Your analysis of the seasons is spot on. We all know this deep inside ourselves, as it is based on wisdom built up by millennias (or longer) of living with and in nature. I think in every season it is important to spend time outside, not just for sun exposure, but also to make your body feel the seasons. Personally, my energy is up incredibly all spring through summer and only really dips in autumn, most likely because the weather here is dark, windy and very wet here at that time. That said, it still feels like summer has yet to start here. I have been working through the entire period and while I appreciate all the rainfall for our plants, we could use a bit of sun too, to make it at least feel like it is summer. Currently it is more autumn-light and I have all this pent up energy that wants to celebrate and go outside.

In summer, we are trying to stay outside as much as possible. Walking barefoot, feeling the Sun, the wind and soft rain, hearing bugs, eating fruits. Simple 😘
  • @Jo-hello
It’s hard when summer doesn’t go as you hoped it would! I’m doing my best to enjoy it but it is very different to the simple gentle summer I wanted to have with my kids. But I’ll do my best to embrace this season anyway 🌻

Can I just say that your fan base raving about your content and mindset shifts they’ve had is what’s making me binge your channel right now. I’m going to take some notes because that is the audience I’d love to have one day 💜

Madisun I LOVE your videos- I only wish they were longer!🙏💖
  • @lyss984
Thank you for creating this beautiful piece. Sending you love. ❤
  • I wish my work life would reflect this natural cycle of life that you describe. Summer is usually the slowest time whereas fall/winter are the busiest seasons of all. 😪 I find it hard living according to the seasons if the majority of my life doesn‘t reflect them.
  • I moved to the PNW last fall and I’m not ready for this summer to be over. It goes so fast and is dark so long 😢
  • I enjoyed hearing the seasons. Thank you for sharing this with us. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓

Summertime is my favorite time to embrace simple seasonal meals, twice daily dips in the pool and Al fresco potlucks w family and friends. Thanks for the beautiful & inspirational videos you post.

Yes! We can not have enough reminders to live into the seasons - the earth seasons, the life phase seasons…I like to keep this reminder close: that there are seasons of fallow fields, as well as planting and harvest time. Fallow time is necessary, too; to pause and rest is not “wasted time” - it’s important time to get grounded, however that happens for you, put aside impatience and know that you are preparing for the next active season. The seasons of our lives are cyclical, like the earth seasons, too…each one worthy of our attention.

  • Always love your content Madisun! Been practicing a simple living lifestyle for years and continue to embrace it since becoming a mom 2 years ago. I've got an almost 2 year old daughter and another on the way ❤ Wouldn't want to live any other way!

Live in Australia but visiting Hungary at the moment and enjoying the softer sun here - you’re lucky here in the northern hemisphere that the sun isn’t scorching (as much) 😊
