억새밭에는 바람 소리만 있는 것이 아니었습니다.
작은 생명들의 자그마한 합창이 해가 훌쩍 떠오른 뒤에도 멈출 줄을 몰랐습니다.
바람 소리를 들으러 가는 길은, 한 발 내딛기 힘들 정도로 캄캄했습니다.
하지만 하늘에 떠 있는 무수한 별들이 길을 안내해 줍니다.
이윽고 풍력발전기가 보이는 동쪽 매봉산 산마루 근처에서
하늘이 열리기 시작합니다.
구름에 갇힌 여명은 더 붉게 물들었고, 산자락은 더 깊은 어둠에 잠겨듭니다.
잠시 일출을 기다리는 동안, 발걸음을 옮겨 산의 서쪽으로 향합니다.
낮은 구름이 가득한 서쪽은 구름바다입니다.
크고 작은 산들이 섬이 되어 하얀 파도를 맞습니다.
커다란 등산로가 구불구불 이어진 북쪽은 벌써 억새가 하늘하늘 춤을 추기 시작합니다.
마침내 아침 해가 솟아오르고 억새는 온통 금빛으로 물들었습니다.
붉은 햇살이 쏟아낸 눈부신 아침입니다.
길가에 무더기 무더기 피어난 쑥부쟁이 꽃에도 맑은 아침이 한가득입니다.
정원같은 산길을 여기저기 서성거리는 사이 해는 이마까지 올라왔습니다.
이제는 억새도 금빛을 풀어버리고 조금씩 은빛으로 반짝거리기 시작합니다.
바람은 한없이 부드러웠지만, 벌써 조금씩 말라가기 시작하는 가을 앞에서,
작은 소리조차 뚜렷이 들리기 시작합니다.
그리고 억새 숲에는 작은 가을의 전령사들이 같이 노래합니다.

The road to hear the sound of the wind was so dark that it was difficult to take a step.
But the countless stars in the sky guide the way.
Soon, near the ridge of Maebongsan Mountain in the east, where the wind power generator can be seen

Dawn trapped in the clouds is dyed redder, and the mountains are immersed in deeper darkness.
While waiting for the sunrise for a while, we make our way to the west side of the mountain.
The west, full of low clouds, is a sea of clouds.
Big and small mountains become islands and hit white waves.
In the north, where a large hiking trail meanders, the pampas grass is already starting to dance in the sky.
Finally, the morning sun came up and the pampas grass was colored with gold.
It is a dazzling morning with the red sunlight pouring down.
Even the sagebrush flowers blooming in piles along the roadside are full of clear mornings.
As I wandered here and there along the garden-like mountain path, the sun came up to my forehead.
Now the pampas grass also releases its gold color and begins to twinkle with silver little by little.
The wind was infinitely soft, but in front of the autumn, which is already starting to dry little by little,
Even the smallest sound begins to be clearly audible.
And in the pampas grass forest, small messengers of autumn sing together.

기억도 가물가물한 몇 해 전 여름에, 하염없이 양철지붕에 비가 내렸습니다.
처음에는 양철지붕에 빗소리인 줄 몰랐지만,
어느새 소리에 빠져들고 있는 나를 발견했습니다.
보이는 것에 극도로 맞춰진 현대사회에 우리는 점점 청력을 잃어가고 있었습니다.
당연하듯이 받아들여지는 각종 소음과 소리…….
우리 감각은 균형을 잃고 청력은 점점 퇴화하고 있습니다.
한국의 숨겨져 있는 보석 같은 풍경과 그 속에 담긴 잃어버린 소리를 찾아
여러분과 같이 나누려고 합니다.
낯선 풍경에서 새로운 친구를 만나 같이 웃고 우는 시간이 되길 바랍니다.
