This whole "teenagers run away" excuse needs to stop. Especially when the teen doesn't even have a history of doing that. Both of my teenagers are pretty much homebodies. They will go out with their friends, but they wanna be home at night. I would lose my Fn mind if the police brushed it off if one of my kids were gone.

She was under 18, an amber alert should have been sent immediately.
  • We live In Lawrenceville ga. It’s a neighboring community. My daughter is the same age. I’m a very small adult. I’m 5 foot 110 pounds. I was out with my daughter on a Friday night coming home from picking her up from work in norcross. This same officer pulled us over. I didn’t get a ticket, but a verbal warning for a rolling stop. The guy was creepy. My daughter said she’s seen him many times in her work place, a retail establishment. This was in February. I’m so glad insistently demanded that I took her and picked her up from work always. When I heard about this I made my daughter quit her job. She’s in college now in Gwinnett. Her dad takes her to class, waits outside her classroom and brings her home. Unconventional I know but that’s my kid. I’m not taking any chances no matter how “inconvenient”

This is insane. How this officer was never reprimanded from prior actions, is beyond disgusting. My condolences to the Morales Family. No one should have to experience such a tragedy.

I don't understand the "they just ran away" excuse for not investigating. Even if they DID run away, they still need to be found and brought back home.
  • I bet if it was any one of the police's daughter they'd use deadly force to get them back. What a group of hypocrites.
  • @breathnstop
The police knew this guy broke in walked around this woman's home, was trying her door all the time and they gave him a "talking to"? The police are culpable in this case. They failed miserably.
  • @ariellemayaali
the footage of him walking around that house is TERRIFYING
  • If your daughter calls you from .9 miles away at 9:45 pm, you don’t start panicking the next morning. You start panicking at 10:15pm.
  • @Weeeewriter
Right from the beginning, the response of the police were very suspect. They need to be investigated and charged. Disgusting.
  • @faeriefire78
Based on his behavior and escalation, there's no doubt in my mind that he would do this again and again if he hadn't been caught. This whole story is heartbreaking.
  • @Vater1
Even if they runaway they still should be looked for. A child is a child
  • @imapotatooe
I'll never understand why running away is taken as a reason to not look for a child/ teen. They are still in an incredibly vulnerable position, even if they chose it.
  • @jayse1834
"Dropped the Ball " They never touched the ball from the start ! Protect & Serve was not an immediate issue nor response .
  • @keishab7522
This poor baby. My heart goes out for her, and him using being a police officer, in the military as a cover for his sick predatory behavior. Thank you, Judge, for refusing to let him go. I pray that he never gets out to hurt anyone again.
  • @Jessicad9304
The police chief saying “we worked diligently on this case” sure made me laugh. They did all of zero of the work here.
  • @SharpTac
The police don't take stalking seriously, which has been going on for years. So many people need to lose their jobs
  • They didn’t look for her for a month?!??! She was a minor, that is crazy and there should be repercussions for the police department in this case. It’s absolutely horrific. Rest easy pretty girl 🤍🫶🏽
  • @grungekiid
Absolutely disgusting. I hope they're able to sue the cops. Insane
