Who are Kara and Nate?!
Watch our documentary here:    • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.

We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)

So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.

Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.

4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!

After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)

We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

Kara, you mentioned yesterday that you had concerns about whether or not this series might be a flop which could negatively impact your channel. I hope by now you understand that your fans love you guys no matter what you do! It’s less about what you’re doing or where you are, but more about your wonderful and sweet personalities that bring in and keep your viewers! Stay safe out there and can’t wait for the next episode in this amazing series!

Rick is an absolute engine - not taking a single day off and taking a turn with his girls. This is my absolute fav Kara & Nate series yet.
  • @khuyennguyen3967
Rick and Bec need their own channel! They are naturals and their energy is so calming and infectious!
  • @Kaiajb_009
honestly, I would really like to see inside of Rick and Beck’s van. I really want to see how they travel in a van with two kids and make it all fit comfortably. ❤
  • I'm actually sad that this series is coming to an end! It's always fun to see the adventures this group has together. Thank you for sharing this! You guys are the best!
  • @emmylefevre6733
This has been the best series yet!!! It all comes down to the journey with family and friends, not the destination!
  • @shellybevan1731
I love how you call the men "The Dad's" when Rick is the only technical father and the women are the girls. The 8 of you make such a great family. Embracing all the quirky situations and having fun with them. There's nothing wrong with enjoying life and finding enjoyment in finding creative solutions to problems. Frankie and Evie have got to be some of the most blessed girls in the world and the rest of show how appreciative you are for your blessings as well.
  • @AAbshier
I used to live in Alton, IL, and I can absolutely confirm the friendliness of the people. We had actual real-live neighbors when we lived there, and had quite a few neighborhood parties. Good memories for us, and happy my old town gave you all good memories too.
  • @caprisun2830
A video with Sarah, Dusty, Rick, Bec, Frankie, and Evie is always a guaranteed banger!
  • The highlight of this video was Nate singing Shania Twain by himself!🤣 Love you guys! 💗
  • @GenXHeart
Shower creativity 10/10! You guys always provide a curve ball and a laugh! I appreciate you so much! And am I crazy or is Evie Kara's spirit animal? 😂🥰
  • I concur with all the comments about how amazing you guys are and how much you bring to our lives! This is one of your BESTEST adventures without a doubt! I LOVE Rick, Beck and the girls-they add so much personality to the story. Dusty and Sara are so much fun too. I look forward to 9am MST on Saturdays to tune into this adventure...and everything you do. Over the 7+ years you've been doing this, you've become phenomenal story tellers. I've watched other similar videos and they just don't match the energy, engagement and humor you bring to your videos. Keep on keepin' on!!!
  • I know you guys were worried about doing an extended series like this, thinking we would all get bored, but I have been absolutely loving it! Frankly, when you are having one big adventure after another in each episode it can be a bit too much. I like the continium, the progression of a story, a series like this provides. It also provides that element of anticipation, as we all await to see how it all turns out.
  • @LisaMac84
I absolutely DIED laughing when you were showering in the car wash 😅😂 Also - this series is SO not a flop!! Love it so much❤
  • @TravelsByTransit
I can't believe you passed through Indiana! That was so cool! Now you need to bike the ENTIRE East Coast Greenway (Maine-Florida)
  • @whosallyanyway
Hope you're both LOVING your well earned rest in the Maldives after all this😮 - you guys are such powerhouses!!💪🏻 Thank you for inspiring normal people (like me!) to leave our comfort zones and go grab those adventures!😁
  • @wallykramer7566
The ladies showering in the car wash is such a demonstration of accepting your situation! All of them showering without thinking about "how it looks" and just making do to get clean and relax.
  • @johnatkins8250
Kara and Nate l have never commented on your videos until now. I just want to say thank you for taking us on your adventures. You see I became sick in 2021 from COVID. I unfortunately lost my right leg. After being in a coma for two weeks I woke up with my life changed forever . I loved hiking and swimming just being able to walk with my granddaughter. I just wish I could get up and hold her hand and walk down the sidewalk. This is all I wish for, realizing this would never happen again was the biggest thing that made me cry . I couldn't share this with my grandbaby anymore. However my life is so different and I know I can't. I thank you because I feel that I am on these adventures with you. I miss being able to just go into our backyard. Thank you both for giving me hope. Especially when at one time I had none. I wish you guys the best of luck and thank you for taking me on this amazing adventure with you.
  • @pbg147
Rick going down the slide in his helmet had me ROLLING!!!! As did Nate singing Man! I Feel Like a Woman!
