Let's be real, Uncle would have killed everyone at the farm if it wasn't for the damn Lumbago

Legend says Th3-J0k3r is still trying to stay online to this day.

I think it’s poetic that the first time jack meets ross, ross ruins jack’s fishing trip and the last time jack meets ross, jack ruins ross’s fishing trip

If they would've just had some goddamn faith theyd all be in Tahiti rn

The fact he knew he wasn't gonna make it was heartbreaking. John took a few deep breathes before leaving the barn to prepare. Such a legend.
  • @GeneralCane
I love how the last two NPCs you see are Ross' wife and brother just showing that a revenge tale is never isolated between two people. There will always be living victims.

In the end, It was all for the youngest member of the gang. Jack.

John is now offline. Jack is now online.

Something I always appreciated about Red Dead is that none of the deaths are treated like they’re anything grand or heroic or thought provoking. It’s just death. John just dies. There’s no swelling music, or beautiful moment, he’s shot like a dog. Uncle just dies. They barely even give him two words after. This carries over into RDR2 where characters like Sean’s deaths are shockingly fast and not hung on for anything dramatic. All death leaves is a body, and anger.

It's crazy how much rdr2 makes this ending feel even more lonely. You had this big cast of characters you got to know and love/hate. Then slowly they either die or leave. Even if he was a scumbag, Ross's death is sad, leaving a feeling of quiet loneliness as all that's left is Jack.

5:18 Uncle was the laziest and most selfish stubborn old man. But despite that, he died protecting the only family he had left. His last words telling John to leave him and get Abigail and Jack to safety is a really powerful moment that everyone forgets about because of obvious reasons that happen just a few minutes later.
  • @Legrson
This is proof that John is the strongest man alive. He survived for 52 seconds after dozens of shots all hitting him. Damn
  • @RagnarokMic
If Ross had just let John enjoy his retirement, Jack would have let Ross enjoy his.

Legend says that Th3--Jok3r--90 still can't decide between staying online or offline
  • @MrBadhan95
What’s even sadder is when Jack turns around and walks away, the camera slowly pans to the right to show Abigail’s grave. 💔
