About speaker:
Matheos Yosafat graduated from Athens University of Medical Studies in 1963 and acquired his neuropsychiatry specialty diploma in 1967. He then left for further studies in London where he remained for 15 years. It was there that he acquired several diplomas in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry. He was elected Director of the National Health System ( Center of Child and Family Psychiatry, Finchley London). He taught at the Towistock Center and at London University (medical Graduate Center) as a Senior Lecturer. He had a 5 year training in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and a 4 year training in Group and Family Therapy. Upon his return in Greece he was elected director of Children's Psychiatric Hospital of Attica. He was one of the main founders of the Greek Psychoanalysis & Psychotherapy Association, where training courses are given for psychoanalysis treatments and the Greek Association of Group Therapy and Family Therapy of which he is president and director for the Educational Institute. He is a regular member of International Research & Science Centers and he has participated in writing many scientific books and numerous articles. He was the main lecturer for various centers abroad (Oxford Univerity, London School of Economics etc) as well as hospitals , scientific centers, Megaron Plus Lectures etc.
He is also the co-founder of the Hellenic Society of Child Psychiatry, where he is also the first elected President.

Μας λείπει το ομαδικό πνεύμα στην ελλάδα. Οι ελληνικές οικογένειες δέν είναι όσο δεμένες όσο νομίζουμε , θέλει δουλειά η συγκρότηση μιάς ωραίς και ισσοροπημένης σχέσης !

Αυτός ο τόπος έχει γεννήσει αρκετά αξιόλογα ανθρώπινα μοντέλα προς μίμηση. Αν προσπαθήσουμε έστω και λίγο να τα μιμηθούμε, θα γίνουμε πολλοί πολύ καλύτεροι άνθρωποι. Να γίνει ο σπόρος δέντρο ν' απολαμβάνουμε την ομορφιά του, τη σκιά του και τη δροσιά του — ξαπλωμένοι από κάτω του παρέα με αδέρφια, φίλους, εραστές και ξένους. Κύριε Γιωσαφάτ, συγκινείτε.

Ενα διαμαντι για τον χωρο της Ελληνικης Ιατρικης, σε παγκοσμιο επιπεδο, και εμεις εδω περα καταφεραμε να κρινουμε καθε προταση του... Ειμαστε ο μονος λαος που εχει μεινει στο ενδοξο παρελθον και δεν κανει καμια αλλαγη και προσπαθεια για ενα καλυτερο και λαμπροτερο μελλον.

Subtitles would be wonderful . I was able to receive the basis of this talk . The Greek language and their ability to think and analyze has always impressed me . Even the use of word pictures as examples is something they do often to emphasize a point and make it memorable . The importance of our faith , passed down as “a life lesson “ is our greatest hope and aid. Timeless and perfectly on target for all the challenges of this life .

Βρίσκω ότι είναι εξαιρετικός άνθρωπος και επιστήμονας! Γενικώς θεωρώ ότι είναι προτιμότερο να μην ακούμε κάποιον αν δεν μας αρέσει, παρά να παραθέτουμε έναν όγκο από αυστηρές κριτικές και πολύ προσβλητικές. Που πρώτα από όλα προσβάλλουν εμάς. Αντί λοιπόν αυτής της διαδικασίας ,προσωπικά θα πρότεινα να παραθέτουμε τις δικές μας απόψεις η ενστάσεις!Όταν κρίνουμε κάποιον αν λέει κάτι το οποίο πιστεύουμε ότι δεν είναι σωστό ,ας προσφέρουμε εμείς την δική μας το σωστή άποψη αλλά με επιχειρήματα.

Το στεναχωρο είναι ότι μετά από 9 χρόνια κ αφού έχει φύγει ήδη απ τη ζωή ο συγκεκριμένος άνθρωπος, η κατάσταση μέχρι στιγμής είναι χειρότερη...ας ελπίσουμε η τελευταία του ευχή κ εκτίμηση στο βίντεο να γίνει κάποια στιγμή πραγματικότητα...
