You can't forget humor, humor is needed to enjoy teaching and for students to enjoy being taught. Nearly all of the teachers I have had (most of which had taught for 10+ years) have said this and I entirely agree

This is very insightful, considering that I'm finishing my physics and chemistry studies and will soon become a teacher. I could easily be strict, but I don't want students to fear me, it makes them hate a subject that they might actually love

For anyone watching this and wanting to know the most important thing about being an EFFECTIVE instructor. It mainly comes down to distractions. The more distractions you can "cut out" (as an instructor) the more effective you will be. The most important distraction to "cut out" is the use of filler/crutch words (and, um, etc) or phrases (you know). If you can "cut out" this one major distraction, then you are on your way to becoming a great instructor. This lady seems to be a very good instructor/teacher, but the use of ands and ums was very distracting. If you noticed her using them, then that was a distraction. A distracted mind is a mind that isn't fully learning what is being taught.

these are all important qualities of a great teacher. Passion is the most required quality in teaching as well as in anything else we do in life. That quality will make way for the others to appear.

Awesome! Now I'm off because of the autumn break, I have got time to relax and reflect a bit on my teaching. I see that I definitely do this in the classes in which the students are extremely motivated, but in classes where the learners aren't paying intrinsically motivated, I tend to neglect these criteria. Good stuff!
