There have been many excellent covers of this amazing Paul Simon song. But, IMO, no one has ever surpassed the sonic beauty and emotional depth that Art Garfunkel gave the original vocal. It's hard to even imagine how they could.

Really an anthem to the closing of the 1960's. #1 in early 1970, i was 14, Grammy for Song of the Year. Credit to studio musician Larry Knechtel for inventing the piano part, making it so much better...reminds so much of happy times 54 years ago when mom and dad and younger brother were alive, young and vibrant. Now they are all gone and I'm the only one left. I never knew i was going to end up this way.
