If you had told me 4 years ago that I would NOT be alone in France but rather the two of you would be LIVING here, I would have eaten my shoe. Fortunately nobody told me that 4 years ago, so my shoe will remain uneaten. (The house is even more beautiful in person let me tell you!!)

I will greatly enjoy watching Cecilia’s vision of the home come to life. What a wonderfully creative, energetic and lovely person she is! Cheers to Josh for appreciating that.
  • @tinalemna7998
Look how far you’ve come! Absolutely gorgeous home! I wouldn’t change a thing in the kitchen but I’m a normal person. 😊

Please consider filming all of the fun things your beautiful wife does to the new home. She is so infectious and her design talent is on point!..please share the process ❤
  • @andil6784
Congrats you two!! Cecelia cannot contain her joy! A smile was bursting out whenever she was on camera. PRICELESS!!!!
  • @jimbim4405
Lovely video! It is so impressive how Cecilia has such a complete and finalised vision of what each room has to have. I would be nowhere!!
  • @fairyofdaisies
to see cecelia in her element is so beautiful! as a fellow cancer woman, i see a lot of the same obsessive, 'get it done asap', stubborn passion in her as i see in myself 😅 so glad that you guys finally found a new place to call home! it truly is a beautiful property, i can't wait to see how cecelia will transform it ❤️

The house is beautiful and I think if you have the money, creativity, dream and energy for these projects, then go for it. As a minimalist, keeping it small and simple is where my husband and I are at. I am sure your sons are thrilled.
  • @ingridcarp232
I think using it as a laundry basket for a while it will regain it’s round shape, just by putting the clothing in there!! You guys scored!! Beautiful home 🏡 ❤
  • None of this really matters. We are all just passing through for a short while. Everything is borrowed. You had a perfect home in Oregon in the most stunning setting. I have the feeling that once this is all done, in a couple of years you will grow bored again and start the whole process over again, somewhere else. Love your dog though, and hope you spend more time in nature - instead of obsessing over the mundane. As you say in your introduction about yourself - it's about the 'internal' not the 'external'. All this materialism and need/desire for so much stuff is really not what it's about. It's a weight. More to clean, insure, dust and on and on. Could be lost in the blink of an eye by fire or theft or a multitude of other life occurrences. Sometimes that wisdom comes with age. “We buy things we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't like.” Favorite part of the video - the garden and your most precious little dog who I hope is getting the love and affection he/she needs amidst all of the chaos. I recently lost mine - and despite being a minimalist for decades, it really reminded me that inanimate things mean absolutely nothing - and are just that - 'things'.

I love your team work ! I love how you analyse things ! I love how you admire your wife ! I love how you love ! I love how you describe things ! I love your peaceful voice and storytelling ! I love your house and how it’s becoming the perfect home ! I wish you both a wonderful day from Le Havre (France). 🥰

I've been watching your family's journey for a while now. I myself moved to France from Washington State just a couple of years ago. I have a very modest 200-year-old house just outside the walls of a little village. It's nowhere near as expansive as your house, but your creativity and enthusiasm have inspired me! Thank you for sharing your life and vision, Cecilia and Josh. I look forward to every new chapter :)
  • @Ellary_Rosewood
It's so wonderful to see your new place! It must be exciting to decorate to your liking and making it feel like HOME (although I do hope that you find plenty of time to relax and enjoy your new life and surroundings before things get too hectic again hehe). Congratulations again, I'm so happy for you two! ❤
  • @Kiri727
Your home is gorgeous!Cecilia’s a magical person, and the way you have captured her in this video is beautiful. What a team.
  • @dionline88
I'm happy you've figured each other out - Cecelia with her passion/drive to get things done and you, with you supporting her, but admitting you like breaks. I'm like you! It's maddening to me to see such a nice kitchen and her wanting to change it - and pretty much everything else! I'm in love with your home, as is. But I'm sure after all of the madness, it'll end up being another masterpiece. And so it goes.... enjoy the process. And each other through it all!
  • @stephanielong5287
What a lovely video, congratulations, everything is coming together for the two of you. Watching you both reminds me so much of my relationship with my late husband who passed away unexpectedly nearly 6 years ago. We were also a great match, we worked together for nearly 30 years building and running a business together and made it to 31 years of marriage. It is wonderful to see your videos and how your adventure in France has evolved. Best wishes to you both!
  • @walideg5304
Congratulations. I think you have the perfect mind to be here. You have the French mentality of enjoying simple things, take the time, love food, nature, history, art. Maybe you not complain as much as we do 😂 I’m happy for you. Artists are always feeling good in France. I don’t know why. I’m French and Moroccan and I really like your taste. I love rugs, I love Wood, I love walls with lime.
  • A lot of work. Personally, I would just want to relax more and let go of the need for some much stuff, start fresh in a new country, and simplify. But, I do enjoy watching your videos and seeing all the new adventures. 😊
