I wasn't expecting this video to make me emotional šŸ„ŗ I guess it's because having a nice home has always been my dream since I was a little girl. I grew up in public housing apartments with 9 siblings, and I used to imagine what it would be like to have my own room to decorate any way I wanted. Having a safe and loving space to call your own is a true gift. Thank you for sharing this with us, Rajiv <3 One day I will have a nice home, and I cannot wait to decorate it with love and intention.

Somebody give him a design show please. I would never miss an episode. Excellent storytelling
  • I am weeping. This man, his apartment and his philosophy are healing me. DEEPLY.

As a retired interior designer I respect your art. You are an artist living the life of a true artist. Your space is imbued with love and light, and I enjoyed your journey and that marvellous quilt. May you live to a ripe old age because people like you make the world a better place. Greetings from Ireland.

I think my dad may have made that mirror in your kitchen. He lived in Ct. and his initials are DCF.

Happy to share this timeline on Earth with you Rajiv. Youā€™re a magical old soul living and teaching mindfulness and beauty. ā¤

Pamā€™s quilt is stunning and so is the sentimental meaning behind it ā¤

So Iā€™ve only watched a few of the videos.. but what a special person! Every now and then you come across someone who just seems.. greater than. They project so much positivity, calmness, artistic flair and most of all GENUINENESS that they rise above the day-to-day silliness that most of us spend our days muddled in. What a pleasure it is to listen and learn from a soul like that. Thank you for being you, Rajiv.

Dear Rajiv. This home tour is both thoughtful and inspirational. It feels like a love letter to the place that shelters you. To curate our spaces and homes does indeed imbue it with our essences which both nurtures us and welcomes those that we invite to enter. Thank you for sharing and welcoming us into your home.

I had to pause to say the quilt Pam made took my breath away: what an amazing piece of art - its beauty and significance is magical.

Just discovered your channel today. My home was built in 1906 and the oak woodwork, with the exception of one bedroom, has never been painted. I love my home but, due to my advanced age, began giving away things not used or, needed any longer. During the process I started to see my home in new ways and have begun to appreciate it's grace and beauty even more. You have inspired me to move things about and right now I am folding my basket of neck scarves after seeing your basket of kitchen towels. Looking forward to more of your videos and your gentle ways.

This is the best, most honest home decor/apartment living video I've ever seen. The title and cover made me think it was one of those fast paced, quick tips, sponsored videos that make you feel agitated afterwards and make you rush to the store. Instead, I found this joy, peaceful ambiance, perfect while I was sipping my tea after a nap. Thank you for sharing the space with us.

Looking at Rajiv just speak is a beautiful display of restraint. His lips, the way he talks with all of his mouth, enunciating each word calmly and seemingly innate. Heā€™s a person who identifies and admires the beauty in everyday things. His striking good looks donā€™t hurt eitherā€¦
  • @littleleafy
I talk to my house. I tell it to be safe and take care of the cats while Iā€™m out. I thank it for keeping us safe and dry during storms. And I promise it that I will do various tasks for it haha. Nothing wrong with vocalizing your appreciation for your home! Words have power
  • That Sari quilt made me emotional. I have now watching about 2 to 3 hours of just Rajiv's content and I, just, wow. The amount of respect and joy he has for something hand made. I am not surprised someone reached out to him if I were any good at anything I would be reaching out too because he what my fibre friends would call 'Knit Worthy'. I truly don't think I have met anyone more knit worthy than this man. You can tell he treasures every single piece that is made for him like an appreciative dragon or a museum curator.

The person who owns that apartment should be honoured to have had you as a tenant for the last ten years. Youā€™ve made it a stunning home. I can see why you love it so much. ā¤

This has strong Mr. Rogers vibes!! How amazing would a Mr. Rajiv show be for kids!? The soothing music, calm tones, simple life lessons, warm aesthetics... it would be so spot on!
  • This is not just a program about an apartment, itā€™s about mental therapy! So relaxing, interesting and inspiring! Thank you šŸ™

Donā€™t know how I clicked on this video. It was so soothing to watch you explain everything. A long long time ago, before I was married, I had an adorable apartment like this. I replaced so much and updated it too even though I was renting it. The landlord was so appreciative. I even wallpapered the kitchen šŸ¤£. It was so lovely coming home to that apartment every single time. šŸ˜Š To this day, itā€™s still warms my soul thinking about it.
