Our non-profit cooperative, Leap of Faith Healing Sanctuary and Gardens (LOFHSG) is a healing retreat space that aims to provide a comprehensive array of holistic and evidence-based therapies to help anyone who has served and their relatives. Our programs are specialized to serve women veterans. Opportunities for career counseling and development are offered to newly transitioning service members from military service into civilian life. Inspired by various successful programs and drawing from traditional and alternative healing modalities, we strive to address mental health challenges, offer safe housing, build social networks, and facilitate career development while providing a healing sanctuary to anyone in need of this type of support. Our vision also extends to incorporating an aquaculture farm and other enterprises that create employment opportunities, provide sustenance, and cultivate a sense of community. We will operate as an anti-racist community/environment primarily in an underserved area, improving overall health outcomes while contributing to local economies.
