People who say that they were rushed/out of nowhere were obviously not paying attention. Just because they didn’t get the ridiculous amount of screen time that Lumity got, doesn’t mean that it was rushed or out of nowhere. Personally, I find the subtlety of Huntlow more alluring than how in-your-face Lumity was.

At 1:48 you mention Gus should have seen Willow was an imposter. I think his eye only allows him to see through his own illusion magic. He can't see through others. When he caught on that the Sigil branding was happening he was keen and in his right mind. Here he was scared, uncertain, and just relived that he saw his best friend.
