New Medical Equipment (4/11/17)

2017-04-12に共有
I feel like there is always something new being added to my repertoire of medical necessities. VogMask, inhaler, Epipens, infusion gear, emergency med kit… Now to contribute to the list is a glucometer. Oh well, it's all in the name of more answers! Speaking of answers, I have my bone marrow biopsy tomorrow – Yikes! Actually, I am not as nervous as I thought I would be. Of course, all that will probably change when it comes time to do the procedure. Thank you everyone for all the kind wishes and support! Sometimes the things we must do for our health are undesirable, but still important. Thank you for joining me on today’s adventure!

  • Its okay Jaquie, if you're ever behind in vlogs, we all know why. We know you wouldn't wish it to be that.. but rather your body just isn't allowing you to upload any faster. ❤️❤️❤️
  • I like the new uploading scheduled. I can wake up, make breakfast and watch your vlogs while I eat and start my day :) Your new infusion bag pattern is adorable! I love the little pink pineapples. Best of luck with your bone marrow biopsy! Sending prayers and well wishes
  • Yaaay these vlogs are the highlight of my day when I'm sick. So inspirational ❤❤
  • 130 resting heart rate. That's over twice mine. That really puts into perspective for me how hard your body has to work!
  • I don't do infusions, but I really need pink pineapples in my life!
  • Good luck with the biopsy, hope it will give you some answers, best wishes from the UK xxx
  • Good luck on your biopsy!! I'm sure you'll do great! <3 to you, Judd, and Harlow!
  • I love your vlogs ! Don't worry about doing a day behind , it's an unrealistic expectation for the same day . You're so positive I love it . Also your relationship with Judd is so sweet .

Hope the biopsy didn't hurt too much. I've heard they're not too awful. Judd, you've got a pretty good gig, getting fed chicken, veggies and cookies and playing video games.

I have this app called medisafe and I recommend to you and all other Spoonie's because it sends me reminders for medications and treatments so I don't forget plus I can track when I miss my meds
  • Love your new pack, you are very good at your medical treatment. Hoping for improvement where ever God grants it with lots of blessings. Dinner looks yummy, how do you do with baked potatoes? They are so easy in the microwave, we find if you ever do them put them in aluminum foil when done cooking and let it sit on the counter for a few minutes while you finish putting things together. This makes it taste oven baked fresh so the skin is tasty with lots of good vitamin C, it is a life saver in simplicity even if you want to make mashed potatoes you can just scoop out of the skins and mush up however you like, less fiber and vitamin C but certainly easy and great. I hear sweet potatoe fries are great too and Harlow can have some :) Best wishes to both of you and the new job! Blessings always!
  • Hi I'm so glad you're home and feeling a little bit better! I was wondering if you and your mom could talk about what it was like growing up with chronic illnesses?
  • You know how they have calendars and toilet paper with words of the day on them? Well we need medical words of the day calendars! Goodness knows we have so many medications and procedures! I'm glad that you got your Phenergan just remember to push it slowly to avoid the burn. Since they're teaching you to dilute it that's great. Hang in there!
  • @jj4christ
So glad you got a good night sleep. Always key to having a better day.

I've heard about EDS from another Aspie, i wonder if it has something to so with Aspergers.
  • Hi Jaquie,Do you think you could use the hydration back pack for feeding pumps and formula too? X
