Putting ads in the middle of this video should be a federal offense.

I had just joined the Marine Corps and being a black dude it was strange at that time to see someone like me jamming to this but I was always ahead of time when it came to music. And this just set me into a zone I didn't want to go out of. Today at 64 when I'm riding and it comes on I love it when that road is right when the weather is great when the tent is full and my mind is clear. I just go to that zone of yesterday

Well Folks I have to say, We grew up to the BEST MUSIC of ALL TIME. Not just Southern Rock, But the Entire 70's.🥳🥳🥳😎😎
  • Music will never be like this again, and the young generations don't know what they're missing
  • If someone tells you they don't like Southern Rock, play for them this song. It transcends all genres. I get goosebumps EVERY TIME.

This song is a masterpiece. It’s way underrepresented in the classic’s list

This is my “Friday drive home from work with the windows down and the volume cranked” song. It’s my weekly ritual.

I paid $5.50 to see this live in 78. I miss talent like this.

This song was to the Outlaws what Whipping Post was to the Allman Brothers Band, what Freebird was to Lynyrd Skynyrd, or what Highway Song was to Blackfoot. It's that last song of the night, show ending 15 to 20 minute plus powerful guitar opus that all of the great southern bands had in their arsenal that whipped the crowd into an absolute frenzy before being sent out the door. I would add that what the afore mentioned songs very much had in common was that no matter how great the studio versions sounded on their albums, you could truly never appreciate just how great those songs were until you saw or heard those bands performing the song live with those endless, forever solos as added extensions, and the song jammed onstage for twice as long live as it was ever performed in the studio during the recording of that album.
