The super narrow street. I experienced it in Yokosuka. I could barely fit in on foot with my backpack. Then the street just turned into stairs. "Moving must suck around here" I thought.

    More exploring please unskilled explorer.

It somewhat reminds me of some of the tiny alleys and lanes you can find in the heart of London.

The garden on the right with the gate and the Arbor above it across from the new build is stunning

Impressive! Your last video about how narrow streets can be, and then ... just suddenly end, was equally compelling to watch.

A skateboard might be the widest vehicle that can go down that street

I love houses on small road like that, but wouldn't be comfortable walking when it rains.

those narrow streets looks a bit like the one in Venice called "calle/calli" between buildings :)

I'm guessing this isnt absolutely the only street like this in Japan. That a new postal worker probably has to mentor with the older worker to know how to access these remote homes. Like do they even correctly pop up on a navi when you navigate to them?

I believe there's law requires you need to have a street with certain width in order to build a house in this country.

    You found old Yamauchi's place.

A lot of Japan's road infrastructure consists of 'before vehicles' where I live. Kind of charming to look at but a nightmare to navigate even with the typical Japanese microcar. Japan's town planning is done by mentally challenged personnel and this is glaringly evident as soon as one hits the road as a motorist, pedestrian or bicycle user.

And I thought the regular streets were narrow already...
