I've received a lot of messages asking me to outline the differences between the Mockingbird stroller and the Uppababy Vista. In this comparison, I highlight how the strollers differ and discuss that pricing gap from $350 to $899.

I subbed to this channel last year because I was expecting my 1st daughter this past January and you have helped me out more than you can think of. Thank you so much for everything you do! I know Dad life is busy but more videos more often would be amazing! Love the content you are putting out man!
  • We love our Mockingbird!! We wanted a stroller with a bassinet and the Vista was the only stroller that had one...then I saw a Mockingbird advertisement online and your review, so we took a chance. We spent $510 to get the stroller, bassinet, bug net, infant insert, and handlebar organizer. It’s such a great investment and such great quality!

I find it semi savage that Mockingbird based their business on replicating the vista but cheaper haha. But for real though the expansion is the only reason we didn't buy this one over the Uppababy.

FYI I contacted Mockingbird and this was their response about a double stroller: "We are working on an expandable double stroller in the very near future. It’s looking like we’ll be able to release it as soon as March/April (though we’re still firming up that timeline), and it’ll be a new model (rather than adapters for the current model). "
  • Thank you for this! my wife and I have been comparing the two for our first that's on the way!

I have the 2018 Uppababy Vista, and I can say that I bought it with not just quality in mind like you said, but we plan on having another baby in about a year so I wanted that option to hold two kiddos with it and the large under basket is great too. I’ve had one or two moms try to make fun of me for spending the money of the Vista, but frankly, I think it’s sooo worth it, and will never feel ashamed for purchasing such a beautiful piece.
  • I have the mockingbird stroller, and for the most part I love it. My baby is only 5 weeks old, so I have only used it with the carriage attachment which is sold separately. The ride quality is really nice and smooth. The storage basket is huge and is great when going to the store. Mockingbird also has a LIFETIME warranty. The one thing I’m not a fan of is the release to remove the seat/carriage. You need to press the buttons on both sides at the same time while some how pulling up at the carriage to remove it. I don’t know about you, but I only have two hands and find this to be difficult when putting the stroller away. At some point, I would like to upgrade to the vista for the ease of the one hand release. It seems much more convenient.
  • I Really wanted an Uppababy Vista not long after I found out I was pregnant but my husband wasn’t a fan of the price. I stumbled across your first mockingbird review video and was sold almost instantly. They look almost identical with an insane price difference. I made my husband watch your video and he was almost as excited as I was. Our son isn’t due until November but I can’t wait to purchase the mockingbird for him. Thank you for making this video!

Got our Mockingbird a couple weeks ago, and my husband and I love it! Your last review on it is what tipped me (I saw a comment of yours saying the ride was just about as smooth as the Vista). And I think you're spot on-the Mockingbird was my choice 90% because of budget..Can't wait to push our first little one around in it when she comes this November (only 3 more months of being pregnant, thankfully)! Your channel has helped me make sooo many decisions on my registry-thank you!!

I would say if you’re looking for a luxury single stroller knowing you’re not going to have another baby for another 3-5 years go for the Mockingbird ! Planning for two kids that are going to be 18months -2.5 years... go for an Uppababy!
  • You have some great reviews, in depth and very to the point. Thanks for this!
  • @RunaaSteinamrk
I love your reviews, Andrew 🙂 and I'm happy to see the bird family logo in use 🙂

We went with the uppababy over every other stroller out there - and we sure tried out almost all of them! There were two big selling points for us. First, it easily turns into a double that works with a wide variety of ages. We went through IVF so there's no telling how long it'll take for us to have our second child. Second, it has the bassinet feature that's sleep safe. There were other less important selling points for us, particularly the handle that extends upwards as we are tall parents!
  • @Mic.D
Can you please do a review on top baby bottles? There’s so many options out there. Just want a top 5 list be nice. With pros and cons. Great job on the videos! You’ve been really informative for me.

One difference you didn't cover is Uppababy's included accessories. It comes with the bassinet and all the bug nets and rain shield. Looking at Mockingbird, they have a 'carriage' but at least from what they advertise it isn't overnight sleep approved like the Vista bassinet. Either way I got my 2015 Vista used for $300 including car seat adapters for Cybex. Another thing Mockingbird doesn't have. It has lasted for 4 years and I know that if anything breaks, Uppababy sells replacement parts.
  • bought the vista for the expansion, quality, and the customer service is SOOO amazing! 3 year warranty on all strollers, no questions asked. Uppababy fam for life
  • @dad.0
Loved it, keep them coming! Great video, I love your channel! Spot on!
  • @ksainte6095
Had my eye on the mockingbird stroller for awhile. Hopefully they will come out with an expansion stroller before April 2020 🤞🏾

I am not part of the upper income but I knew that I loved the Uppababy so guess what I did.....i saved and got my stroller and don't regret it one bit. If you truly want it than knowing which stroller you love and putting some aside as early in your pregnancy can help achieve it.
