I feel so uncomfortable looking at Chun-Li´s legs. It's as if someday they'll be playable characters on their own.

Hadoman: Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Footsies) Mike: Ryu or Necalli? Ryan:: Ryu. Mike: That's boring. Ryan: Fundamentals are always more interesting.

gootecks, thank you. Your teaching was very clear, and I learned alot. Thanks to you, I'm now a 'beta test grandmaster' and I'm only 13.

Sensei Master Gootecks is setting people straight yet again. I hate to admit it but you had my attitude down when it comes to when it comes to learning new games of a franchise. I do get tired of seeing things like "Basic Ryu Tutorials" when I am learning a new fighting system. However, you are absolutely correct when it comes to learning basics and nuances of the new game by starting with what is the base character for the system. I had many of people break out the kendo stick of discipline on me when it comes to that fact. Also, it is great that you are showing why you need to take a more patience approach in training in the training room. Sometimes, training on moves and combos should NOT be the focus of the training session. It should be trying to understand why something works or does not work and/or understanding  spacing and timing. Keep up the good work on the tutorial, Bro! And one day, I will figure out how to use the "Virtual Kendo Stick of Discipline" and share the secret with you so you can use it when you train others.

I really appreciate these videos, thank you.

Very informative on the use of normals and strong attacks if been looking for info on this because I struggle again opponents who have a good intuitive use of normals integrating these tactics sufficiently by using training mode a lot may also be able to remove my bad habits and get my rank in online to get away from bronze borderline Rookie to something better in SFV.

I really like how attack inputs look in Street Fighter Cinco. The way the attacks sounds have so much beef. Feels so satisfying to hit the opponent. The block animation looks sick too. I really hope Capcom doesn't screw us with this game. so far I am really liking it.
  • @Gurpwnder
I feel like backwards quick rise should be vulnerable during the animation like it was in CVS2.

He's pretty much 3s Ryu... but he's missing his "donkey" kick, so I feel like he's not complete and I think that kind of hurts him. He still seems really strong in this game, though. These tutorials are on point. Good stuff, Gootecks.
  • @FlockofSmeagles
Gootek's face when he realized how small that throw box was.. LOL, my thoughts exactly.
  • @LiangHuBBB
