I'm a fan of yours, Teacha Karen. I always watch your content! They are substantial and full of gist. Allow me to share this. This happened to me, I've been trapped by an evaluator and failed the demo. Evaluator named "Francis" trapped me in the demo lesson "Would you mind me/my closing the window?" I waited for hours in queue and when he entered he skipped many parts of the lesson and directly instructed that we go to the practice part. This practice is sentence making. Using the word borrow (asking for permission) he said "Would you mind me borrowing my pen?" then, I corrected him since the first thought that came to me was that, why would you borrow your own pen?, I told him that he could say "Would you mind me taking my pen? or would you mind me borrowing YOUR pen?", instead since that makes more sense. That's when he said "What if I borrow my own pen from him?", so, deep in thought I was thinking why would borrow your own pen? Then he said, I've asked you teacher if you'd still want to continue or postpone your demo, which he really did before we started. How could I say no, I've spent hours of waiting, and just with that, with his trapping, BORROWING HIS OWN PEN, I failed my final try. Well, that's life. Sometimes unjust, but isn't the end. I've landed to a better job. So, thanks to Francis for closing the window, allowing a better opportunity to come to me. Again, I just had this feeling that I needed to share this. I've watched the content, I've nothing against it. Actually, you've imparted knowledge to me today! So, thank you. Thank you so much Teacha Karen. ♥

I had my demo first, asking me why do we have to put ed to the verb while it is not yet happening or past tense, I got panic but I managed to explain the uses of tenses, but still not acceptable, Francis gave me another chance to retake, He is also praising me that I have the potential etc, but He noticed an medyo ninenerbyos talaga ako kaya sabi nya take it easy, He knows daw that I can do much better, and my second demo was I can say, PERFECT, no mistakes at all, the admin was very happy and told me that she will submit my demo to her supervisor and wait for the result, so I felt very confident an kahit papano mapag aaralan young demo ko kung sakali ndi talaga umubra I was expecting some feedback like, i need to be like this, i have to do that...mga ganon ba at least aware ako on my flaws,,,,because as in no mistake and I can see the face of the Admin that she was quite impressed and told me so much praises. naiiyak an nga ako habang nagsasalita sya hanggang pag end nang video, bigla lumabas FAIL, sobra akong nanghina, hindi ko alam kung bat ganon, I've waited yesterday from 4pm till 945 pm then nag retake ako kanina 9am nasalang ako mga 130 pm akala ko kahit papano may hustisya magaganap sa paghihintay ko.. sobra akong nanlumo, gusto kong sumigaw sa sobrang sakit ng naramdaman ko, halos hindi ko pinagsasalita mga anak ko at wag mag ingay ng husto dahil masyado sila sensitive sa background, mababait mga anak ko kaya they followed me, kasi alam nila I need this job, kamamatay lang ng husband ko 5 mos ago at para sa kanila to, tapos.. bigla FAIL.. naalala ko when I had my system check yesterday sabi ni admin na sobrang bait at super chika sa akin, sobra pagod na daw sila at stress dahil sa dami ng applicant like today 200 daw nakaabang na for demo pero 10 lang need nila ipasa, hindi ko alam ano ibig sabihn nun ayoko pag isipan ng masama kasi nakakaunawa naman ako dahil talaga sa pangyayari sa china ,marami tayong nalugmok, pero naisip ko lang siguro nga since ndi naman nila kaya e - accomodate lahat para ipasa kahit pa sa tingin nila na may potential kaya kahit puro praises sabihin nila syo during the demo, eh after the video pag tapos na at sinabi nilang FAIL eh wala naman na tayo magagawa. I am not here to say anything against NC, mag aapply pa rin ako sa kanila after 3 month cguro, pero sobra lang talaga nanlumo ako. sobra mga teach..sobrang sakit sa pakiramdam yung feeling mo pinaglaruan yung damdamin mo. feeling ko lang naman yun dahil yun ang nakita ko sa pangyayari.teach Karen, I really admire you sana naging kasing swerte mo din ako na nakapasok sa NC. Hindi pa ako maka get over, sorry mga teach if nobela, just sharing my experience. However I still love NC kasi na review na naman ulit ako habang nag ppractice ako sa demo, sana next time na mag apply ako, mapansin na nila ako. Bye for now NC. See you next time! Now I'm studying for the Quiz na 🥰 Salamat po talaga! ❤️ And to add lang po, sa 1st demo ko kay Ms. Jez, she asked me what is natto, meaning of fermented, nutrients one can get from fermented food and examples. Sa 2nd demo ko po, Sir Francis asked me to explain why we should put '-ed' on the verb sa Would you mind 'if' pattern. Just wanted to share these para makapag-prepare din po 'yung iba. Hindi kasi talaga biro yung demo haha. And another tip, if gusto niyo po na matapos agad at di maghintay ng mahaba, be on standby by 9 am. That's what I did and I finished in 1 day. Yun lang po. The first time They said i didnt smile enough and i skipped one part. The second time I didnt corrrect effect for affect as i thought it was just her pronounciation. I failed in under 5 minutes both times. I got 95 in the proficiency test. Im frightened to take the third trial, I may seriously start doubting myself as a teacher. They make sure to shatter your confidence. Im not goung with the third trial 😢😅

Hello teacha Karen. The recruiter told me that I have had an excellent demo especially in the part of reading conversation and being enthusiastic. In the lesson WHY DO YOU NEED NATTO? The only thing that I hadn't been able to meet is the use of the chatbox. She said at the end of the demo, it is okay not to use the chatbox frequently for at that moment I used it for names, mispronounced words, ungrammatical phrases, and questions. I couldn't get why I failed it 😿
