Riots across the UK - with scores of them in London - have marked a positive change in the unrest across the nation this week. Riots have turned into peaceful protests in places such as Walthamstow, Birmingham, Sheffield, Bristol, Manchester and Derby.
Despite a promise of chaos in 100 areas, protests remained mostly peaceful. However, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed it made eight arrests in Croydon after thugs threw fireworks at police.

I had a meeting at work yesterday about preparing for protests, in it we were told that Police were not expecting any anti immigration protests. Media is supposed to report on facts, not stoke up a civil war, which is what you are doing with this headline.
