If you don't have pinecones right in your area... look harder! You're probably missing them. Why buy them, when you can make them yourself for nearly free? Make your house smell like Christmas! And... Capri Sun?

  • I wonder if you filled a pressure cooker with cinnamon & pine cones & water then cooked them under pressure for 30 - 60 minutes if you’d get a stronger longer lasting smell?
  • I really liked your way of making scented pine cones. Thank you dear!
  • I have 2 Huge Pine Trees in my Backyard. This should be fun!
  • I spray cinnamon oil on mine until they are wet then let them air-dry and it smells lasting
  • If you noticed, when you put the pine cones in boiling water, they all closed up again. If you want the pretty flower like pine cones, I suggest you try a different application. One that doesnt require boiling water. I dont know if they open up again once they dry out? Anyone have some input on that?
  • Great . Thank you for sharing. I am sharing this video. Maybe others want to do it..

This recipe is great, these pinecones taste just like cinnamon

How much cinnamon was used and how long were the pinecones in the water?
  • I've seen where some people put them in the oven, on a very low temperature, to help dry them out faster. But, idk? How long did it take them to dry after simmering them in cinnamon, and taking them out of the bag? I l❤ve this idea!
  • I have some pine trees where I live all I have to do is go outside and pick them up off the ground
  • All I have to do is step out I to my yard. I can get you all the pine 😊cones anyone could ask for! Funny story. When my kids were little, we had a pot bellied pig that lived in the house we had decided one Christmas to make Cinnamon hard candy. It was so strong that the pig went crazy! She started running all over the house and then wanted outside. She jumped in her swimming pool and rolled around. I guess the cinnamon was so strong it was burning her eyes and nose. I felt bad but it was funny as all get out!
