Early seventies we had a gold four door sedan with vinyl roof and roofrack marks. Father traded up to a 71 Electra.

I love it. Just a classic example of American iron. My uncle had one. Love the front end grill and those drooping taillights.

We had one when I was a little kid remember it well. I always wondered why Pontiac discontinued it and never bought it back.
  • Pull that thing up to a full service pump for gas and watch 'em try to find the gas cap--lol. I had one of those in the 80s and loved it. Same as yours there though not in as nice condition. It was like driving a battleship. Like to own another some day. Thanks for posting!

My family rented one of these in a Verdoro Green...a coupe to be exact.

Dreamboat, and i love the unusual style of the hvac controls, just uses the existing dash panel, very cool.

Found one where my dad works god it's rusted bad but it's beautiful
  • My cousin had one of these only his was a convertible. Damn, that car was cool. Big 428 cu. in. His was red with white interior - very sharp. He also put Chromed Steel Cragar SS wheels on and the twin 45 degree angle radio antennas on the back fenders. Today's radios are shit as far as reception is concerned.

,that is a beautiful car, they were American made with pride. My dad drove a 64, think had a 383, seemed like a two speed tranny. Remember the drive, when it shifted, like it skipped 2nd.
  • The exhaust will kill you , believe me I grew up in that era. 71 and on were dogs. SMOG shit.
