DIY | How To Grow Aloe Vera| Propagate Aloe Vera

SHOW US THE ADORABLE SOUNDING BABY!!!

Aloes cannot be grown from just leaves, the ring of stem tissue from the part where they are connected to the stem is needed to have a chance at propagating. You cannot grow new plants from leaves.

I did many many times but unfortunately it doesn't work. The best way is waiting for the pups of aloe vera🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

LOL...I REALLY need to find me a new hobby. My kids are getting ready to leave home for college soon. ☹️☹️☹️Hope you can do an updated video for me before they leave... you've only got 1 year...lol... it's harder for me than I thought! Thanks. Mine fell today. I was wondering if I could propagate the broken pieces. I was about to re-pot until you said to let them dry out so thank you for your help and also the sand I didn’t know that. Gonna let them dry out and see what happens

Doesn't work well at all. it may be possible, but success rate is very low. You notice in these videos, noone actually shows you a rooted leaf.

Try dipping a weeping cutting in powdered cinnamon and then put them out to dry for a day or two before planting. It helps starting roots plus it prevents rotting of the base of the plant.
