I had a nightmare last night where I sat down for lunch, opened YouTube, and found no Cody Ko video in sight. Thank the lord it was just a dream
  • @mundaneamazing
Cody's bro-sona and dad-sona are fighting hard in this video.. He's like, "Thats funny... but that's dangerous." "That's funny... but that's scary." "That's funny... but that's sad."

Cant wait for your kid to grow up and post, "THATS CRINGE: My Dad" lol
  • As a preschool teacher— no, the kids don’t understand what’s going on during active shooter drills. They don’t understand why we have to practice hiding in our school and yes it does scare them. Heartbreaking to witness.
  • @NebulousNector
Agreed. The parents made the kid cry. That’s why u don’t make a peep when they fall. U wait to see if they cry indicating pain. If u make them think they’re hurt they’ll cry

It feels like most of these ‘kids are dumb’ videos just showcase the stupidity of the adults around them. Pretty ironic lol
  • I love how Cody doesn’t hate on children, like he is just so refreshing coming from hearing other people his age constantly hate on children

11:51 that kid def wouldn’t cry like that if the whole room didn’t scream at him😭 poor baby got scared AND hur
  • @drewbrew444
Cody reacting to every vid like “someone could’ve gotten hurt!” is such new parent energy 😂
  • You can tell having a kid has softened Cody up to childrens mishaps. He has more understanding and compassion for the fact they are just kids and is hesitant to judge many of them for just making mistakes kids make because they don’t know better. I had the same thing happen to me, having a kid really makes you more compassionate towards kids.

I hate that we have to do school shooting drills now for my lil 5-7 year Olds. One time I had to get the class to play the "silent game" just to make sure they stayed quiet for our drill. None of them knew what the drill was for except for the new kid from Dominican Republic saying "its because people with guns can come right?" This is what they know outside of the U.S. Sad world.

It's ironic that these are on the "Kids are fucking stupid" subreddit considering 90% of the examples are of adults showing extremely poor judgement.
  • @heymay2242
They’re not dumb, they just haven’t discovered logic yet. Some adults never grow out of that phase lmao

The kid with the candle was absolutely fine! When he put it out, he immediately looked up to seek validation and reinforcement for his action because he thought he was doing something good, since he had clearly learned that candles on a birthday cake are supposed to be put out. But instead, he was met with the complete opposite reaction: Screams and appalled faces which, obviously scared the crap out of him; you can see him literally jump in his chair in response. THAT'S what caused him to cry, not the candle. After that experience, he will probably have some weird feelings towards birthday candles or blowing them out, and he won't know why because of not being able to remember this particular event.

i've constantly seen people put out candles by just "squeezing" the flame with their index and thumb. it likely didn't even hurt the kid, but everyone screamed so the kid started screaming and crying. it's like when a kid falls and is completely fine but then the adults start freaking out and that's when the kid starts screaming. they just see everyone panicking and so they start panicking too
  • @bustoo
I love how parents reactions dictate childrens reactions. That candle kid and snake girl freaking out after their parents reactions were priceless.
  • @jeremynevens6649
Maybe thats why the kid stabbed a fence into the couch..so he could stay behind it and not slide off

Fun fact: Monopoly was originally designed to teach the futility of capitalism, Everyone was intended to win at the game. As the film War Games put it, “A strange game, The only winning move is not to play.” Companies got a hold of it and made it into a game to make every loser bankrupt. Monopoly is the only board game that I despise.

For the soon-to-be parents out there concened about "how is my child going to digest shooter drills at school when he's like 3." Same, I feel you. Then my daughter had her first active shooter drill this year and she told me they practiced for the off-chance that a gorilla escapes from the zoo and they have to hide from it. The schools really do consider the babies.
