I'd like to apologize for showing people inaccurate information and take back what I said about white and other light-colored ink on skin. I didn't mean to further spread this tattoo myth/misconception that these types of tattoos hurt more. I should have double-checked my statement before posting it where many folks can see it. Thank you to the people who brought this mistake up. CORRECTED fun fact: White/light-colored highlights only feel like they hurt more because they are usually added as finishing touches (i.e., when the tattoo is nearing completion) which means the skin is very sensitive at this stage.
