This dude has got it totally figured out with respect to diabetes. His carbability concept is perfectly on point!
  • @richglass5230
I'm still on my journey that started 28 years ago. These types of interviews and stories help to reinforce my journey in a very positive and meaningful way. Thanks to both of you for helping me and others to better ourselves and hopefully make this world a better place.
  • @LineLevesque
After years of watching all I can on nutrition, this has got to be the best interview I've seen! This interview nailed exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! ❤

When he talked about the weight to diabetes threshold it really resonated with me because I've noticed the same thing but for my blood pressure. It doesn't matter how healthy the food I eat is, if my weight goes past a certain point the BP shoots up. Knowing your own thresholds and not adhering to a diet dogma is good advice.

Also, I’ve been a binge eater since childhood and plant based for 7 years. Yes, two totally different issues. I have no problem avoiding animal products, but the salt, fat, sugar that is plant based beckons. Refreshing to hear from you sir and about your journey as I heal myself. Thank you 🙏🏻
  • @denise4549
This was such a good way to explain why you should not identify yourself to a type of diet but instead you should be focusing on what your body needs healing in their body.

This is Gold. Best interview ever! The journey never ends.

Thanks Joe and Klaus. You're both bloody legends!

It's great to see Joe again and know that he is doing well. As a perimenopausal woman, I have fallen into a similar diet of predominantly fruit, vegetables, and vegan protein. I can't eat bread or other refined grains without putting on weight and getting seriously bloated. Not being diabetic, I do eat root vegetables and have one serve of brown rice per day.
  • @Hollysuzette33
Gosh, this is one of the best plant based videos i have ever seen. This is really important work your doing. Im not even diabetic but there is so much for me to unpack here. Wheeew...i am mind blown.❤❤❤
  • You Did Not Choose To Be Classified As Diabetic, But You Can Choose To Fight Back Against Diabetes 💪
  • @wildgeese5707
I liked his take on diabetes being a reaction. From one of the plant based movies: “colon cancer is a food borne illness.” That has stayed with me ever since. Most of our metabolic and inflammatory “diseases” are simple food borne illnesses.
  • @maryhazell2654
This video made me think about diabetes, i have been type 2 for 23 years. This has been an inspiration, going to start my journey. Thank you.
  • @kathleenkulp240
So much just plain good common sense, communicated in such a straightforward sensible way. I especially appreciate the binge eating connection which has been my struggle for years. THANK YOU so much, Joe.
  • @haz7417
I was plant based for 3 years and in the past 1 week I’ve relapsed and had kfc 3 days in a week. Wish me luck getting back to it
  • @mynameisana09
So nice to see Joe is well and figured it out for himself.
  • @skippy6462
"Meat & two veg" is British tradition but once go plant based there's no limits. My sister is always wondering what our centre piece is (meat) but we don't need those limitations. Everything is centre piece if it's a plant.
