I bought two small green houses for my balcony. I didn't know you could buy these things. It's really small but I can put a couple pots underneath it. This will protect my food from the critters. Also I made my first sourdough bread with wild yeast. I'm so proud of myself.

Garden seeds, freedom seeds(with cash), fence for garden, propane.

I go to Lowes in search of soil that has some missing out of the bag. Picked up soil for my container gardens (one bag had very little missing) but was able to get it for half off.

I have been in bed for a week with a virus flu but getting better. I only took raw garlic and honey.

So this week I finally bought clay, fire bricks, mortar and a cast iron cook grate for a makeshift rocket stove. I also came across a deal on plastic sheeting (3 mil not a heavy as I would like) and bic lighters 😊
  • I am putting together a get home bag. I work 43 miles from my rural home -when not working remotely.

I bought 2 rain barrels, garden soil, cow manure, and 3 raised beds.

We get food for our pigs for free from the local food bank. Food they can't give away or expired would go to the landfill. Instead they give me two pallets a week of breads , cakes, produce, etc.
  • Oil of Oregano cures and fixes quite a bit. I have #4 custom built medical kit for a quick departure. I have 15+ cases of water for drinking and at least 10 gallons for other uses for 3 people in my house.

Colby & Misty we have to stick together aa a like minded community .These videos help us all stay connected trade ideas and looking out for our families & the families who may need our help.I worry everyday about our elders. These week I bought more layer pellets,10lbs brown rice 5lbs of split peas 5lbs of lentils 5 lbs of beans I canned and planted today❤❤❤ Keep on keeping on .

I've gotten my container garden areas prepped, and rest for planting. added 8 more types of seeds this year, bought a stockpile of toilet tissue, laundry soap, bags of dry cat food for my feral colony, have been bartering for compost for my garden areas. hustling odd jobs for cash to put back. bought 8 cases of wide mouth quart jars, 6 cases of pint jars, and traded an item i had for the all American pressure canner with attachments. I'm 65, and have been stockpiling on canned goods, since canning season isn't here yet. i have wood for outdoor cooking if necessary, and water at the ready. i believe we're headed toward something bad. just too much going on in this world to not get prepared, no matter what age your are. 👍👍

Family of...eight! Holy smokes what a brave mom and dad

If you can't afford seeds but let's say you bought fruits veggies with seeds you can clean them and set them to dry with a paper towel then once dried you can stored them without humidity and plant them when needed, but be aware that not all plants thrive where you live so it's also a good idea to check what grows better where you live and in what season.

Glad that You said 3 GALLONS per PERSON per day. WATER is MORE than just drinking for hydration, there are things like brushing your teeth and TRYING to take care of personal hygiene.
  • This week I bought stuff to grow medicinal herbs and flowers to make tinctures. After watching Misty's videos and her recommendations, I'm going to try it for the first time

No seeds? Cherry tomato, Roma tomato & tomatllo are loaded with seeds & I grow two ways. I scoop out seeds with gel attached, put in jar, cover with water, & paper towel on top. 3 days later, rinse. I can plant then, or put in clean water for 2 weeks= small roots, then put in potting soil. I've also (& usually) cut off small pieces with skin & seeds attached, lay on potting soil, cover with little soil. Have done many times thru the years.
