"You spend half your life accumulating things and the other half trying to get rid of it." Much love to you Faerie.
  • I am fifteen years old and I started to declutter my room and started to live a minimal life from the last month and I am loving it...... I am getting so much more time to study and my health has improved... I got one of your videos in my recommendation and I am grateful for that...... And , I just love your accent ma'am.....
  • "Activities that are seemingly mundane, become precious." As a child I remember my bff's Mom, folding the laundry with such grace that the simple act of folding laundry looked so incredibly beautiful and loving. I still think about it and have told her how much that moved me as a child and that I wished some day I would be able to move through my chores with that kind of perfect elegance. Thanks for sparking that memory for me again..
  • Somebody should really buy up a forest and build small cottagecore town in the middle where everyone lives like this. because i would live there in a heartbeat.

Nowadays, more and more Japanese are leaving the big cities and living in the countryside. They're starting to realize the benefits it has for their children and themselves.
  • Several years ago I heard a word, I live by. You defined it well. 'Enoughness'

This evening we spoke of how comfortable and grateful we were in out little ranch house in Montana, US. We are senior seniors and are grateful for our good health so we can continue our work on our little property. We enjoy being home.

Gosh, I just teared up a little. You hang up your laundry reminded me of myself as an au-pair in Kenmare (think I stated this before). I lived on the outskirt of town, right beside fields and hanging the laundry on a sunny, windy day while breathing the fresh Irish air was one of my favorite tasks during that time. It had such a calming effect.
  • My parents were the generation who would “make do and mend”, grew all their own vegetables, bought food from individual shops not supermarkets. Some of my happiest memories were blackberry picking and making into jam and pies, we would take a picnic and spend the whole day there. They just didn’t buy very much at all, we didn’t have heating or hot water until I was a teenager but we thrived and were never happier or healthier. It doesn’t seem so easy today, there is so much pressure to buy and consume, I try to grow as many vegetables as I can, buy food with no packaging, go to the market. If we need anything we always go to second hand websites, thrift shops, car boots. We all need to try and up cycle, mend and re use and I think this would make a difference no matter how small. I love your videos and the message they bring❤️

Most of my possessions were given to me or found at the dump. I've always taken great pleasure in cleaning and restoring things to make them new again.
  • Let us take a moment to appreciate the fact that she can literally do everything right from cooking to stitching to DIYs to making such amazing content ❤️

I wish I could live in a cottage in the Irish countryside. It seems more conducive to sustainability than where I live, which is polar opposite to cozy Ireland. Thank you for a pleasant daydream.

slow-living reminders are the best on sundays 🧡
  • started my own journey to (some sort of) minimalism about a month ago. Did a huge declutter of my room--nearly 12 years worth of things I never use or need--and got rid of 6 big bags of stuff to be donated or recycled. Next step is my wardrobe, then my beauty products, etc. It's a slow journey but I'm gonna get there eventually! Watching your channel really helps, so thank you!
  • “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance” - Coco Chanel. There is such an elegant grace to the way that you live your life and view the world. It is refreshing in a time of greed and social media, to find someone who embodies such similar sentiments as my own. Thank you for sharing with us.
