  • How are y'all possibly interpreting my comment that the SpongeBob Movie and Polar Express came out in 2004 as a diss? Did I say a single negative thing about either of them? Please explain
  • @tobyray3827
All I remembered about this movie was strangely oversexualized fish
  • @MaydupNem
give them some credit, they did manage to animate a fish that almost looked like will smith
  • @wunderwaffen273
Fun fact:shark tale, despite having an abysmal 35% rotten tomatoes,is still higher then most pokemon movies based off the pokemon anime

"The color pallet is washed out and it doesn't do anything for the movie" Washed out A fish movie Washed out
  • @timey_103
0:55 "...and the lowest score of any Dreamworks animated film ever..." Megamind 2: "Hold my beer"
  • @arbuckle6103
I think the reason this movie was nominated for the Oscar was because the main character’s name is Oscar.
  • Honestly for a couple of years I thought Shark Tale was some weird fever dream because no one ever knew what I was talking about.
  • @precariouscup420
5:06 the fact that they didn't call it "barnacle king" automatically makes me never want to see another fish ever again
  • @MoonWielder
0:35 Speaking of which, I hated that Ralph Breaks The Internet and Shark Tale had the same problem: the main characters were selfish and faced no consequences. Vanellope wanted to join Slaughter Race by going against her role as the leader and abandoning the racers in Sugar Rush, while Oscar wanted to be famous by lying to everyone that he killed a shark and disregarding the people he already had in his life. Even after that, they were never held accountable for their actions.

These guys missed the chance to use Pepsea instead of coral cola
  • The reason they called the main character Oscar is because they could still say this movie had an Oscar.
  • @_Epidemic_
Crazy how megamind 2 will be even worse than this hate crime
  • @samkilpatrick1259
Jack Black in this sounds like he’s going through different emotions. In the likes of Kung Fu Panda and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, you can tell that Jack Black is having the time of his life in those movies because those were roles meant for him.

This Movie got nominated but Megamind and Shrek Forever After didn't
  • @arzer114
To be fair, "protagonist" doesn't mean "Hero", it just means main character, so Oscar can still be the protagonist and the villain at the same time
  • @TheoTungsten
Megamind vs the Doom Syndicate now has a lower Rotten Tomatoes percentage than Shark Tale. MUCH lower. See for yourself.
