It says a lot about Mihawk that a clone of his seems more humane.

This scene is really great for two reasons. 1. It parallels Zoro's first duel with Mihawk, but with the rolls reversed. He describes S-Hawk as more human than Mihawk while looking every bit inhuman himself, giving the seraphim the little brother treatment. The function of this scene is less to describe the seraphim's lack of power and more to make Zoro's jump in base strength clear. 2. It gives a decent answer to the question posed by Luffy's awakened personality changes, especially following Zoro's defense of the ship against CP0. One of his primary roles as vice captain will always be defending the fodder from the wrath Luffy inevitably incurs and is no longer mentally stable enough to worry about.

I mean, he sweats, clenches his teeth, reacts to contact, Mihawk would just stare impassively at you as he waits for you to be done with your move. By comparison, this young kid that's been hotly augmented and ritzed out with tech from top to bottom makes Mihawk look like a god damn alien.

Anyone who watched one piece from the beginning should know that unless Zoro puts on his bandana. He plays with his opponents and doesn't take the fight seriously. You could say that he is a Zaraki Kenpachi of One Piece. He only fights at his full power when the opponent is worthy.

You can tell Zoro has grown alot, you can see that a replica, well almost like a replica but a replica of Mihawk, Zoro's enemy, is having a hard time trying to win against Zoro, Mihawk still may be stronger than Zoro but this basically shows Zoro is getting somewhere near Mihawk's level.
