Horse With No Name Guitar Lesson Beginner Version ✅ Buy Lauren’s Guitar Course – laurenbatemanguitar.com/courseyt - Welcome to my Horse With No Name guitar tutorial for beginners. This is an easier version of the song done by the Band America. I do have a more intermediate strumming version of the Horse With No Name on YouTube that you can find here:    • Horse With No Name Guitar Lesson - CO...

In this guitar lesson, I will be going over a Horse With No Name guitar strumming pattern that is easier for beginner players just getting started with the guitar. Since this is one of the first songs I reach in my 7 Level Guitar System, we are going to keep it simple. You can play along with me at the end of the lesson to see how well you have grasped the materials.

I'm 73 and I've always wanted to play guitar. I have osteoarthritis and I'm working on not only strengthening my fingers but getting them to move right. Thank you for helping all those like me. I'm really enjoying learning. You are really good at what you do. I know that everything is repetitive so I don't get frustrated but just keep practicing. I'm working on horse with no name until I can get proficient at going from e-minor to d6/9 without hesitation or having to really think about it. My husband says I'm sounding better and I'm glad that he encourages me and listens to me doing the same thing over and over. Keep up the good work and bless you for being encouraging especially to us older folks.

I am 61 and decided to want to learn to play the acoustic guitar, I love the way you teach, you go nice and slow so us beginners can catch on, others I've watched go way too fast, they seem to forget we're just beginners. I'm glad I came across you.
  • I am 73 years old with several of the problems you might expect of an older learner. Over the years I have taken lessons from extremely talented musicians and teachers. Lauren’s commitment to music as well as education is unique.
  • The most BRILLIANT training on the internet. Lauren breaks each step into the most basic playing elements and diagrams, which makes it very easy for a complete beginner to understand and follow. Thanks Lauren.
  • Thank you so much. On December 9, 2020, my Dad died of Covid. He was an avid guitar player. He played every day and in his lifetime he wrote over 3,000 songs. The last thing I told him before he died was that I would learn to play and I wouldn't let the music die. I haven't been able to open his guitar or even attempt to play it. I just couldn't. Yesterday, I picked up the guitar he had left me. I tuned it and found your videos. Thank you so much for helping me fulfill the promise I made to him. I just played the easy version of Horse with No Name for my hubby. It means a lot to me. THANKS again. Hopefully, I'll be able to play his songs soon.
  • Lauren is the best teacher for us beginners! Thank you so much for all that you do.
  • @Flubble
wow only had a guitar for a week and just seen this video, before i knew it i was playing along and you were singing it was amazing, had the biggest smile on my face when realized what was happening, so much fun!!!!
  • @draster541
For many years I was playing B7 not D6/9. Gee what a difference. After all these years I’m still learning thanks to you. Excellent!!!
  • @breelynfay
YES!! I’ve been watching your videos for two weeks now, and today I played through (and sang) this whole song!! I’m straight up GIDDY!!! 💃 💃 🎸 ❤
  • @jamiemoffatt50
I wish everyone taught like you. I keep finding songs I’d like to learn but the way they explain them so fast, like to someone who’s been playing for years, it all becomes a blur. I’m only four months in. Thanks for all you do.🤟🏻😎🤟🏻
  • Fantastic Elvis-T-Shirt . I‘am a Great Elvis Fan since 1972 and a Beginner on the Guitar. Thank you for teaching Gruß aus Hamburg Germany Stephan
  • I watched and listened and learned. I practiced and practiced then came back and played along with you. Many thanks.
  • @TheSteffie59
I can do it, my very first song!! Its not super smooth as yet, but I'm just continuing to practice every day. I feel super proud as I never thought I'd achieve much with arthritis, which makes fingers reluctant to move as directed very often. So grateful to you Lauren, you are a super tutor for us seniors. Thank you! 😊
  • I GOT IT!!! My son and I like to jam out I'll be at his home in 2 weeks I can now play this with him. Very special time together Thank you!!!
  • Finally learned, and I'm gonna play Horse with no name to my 2-yr-old nephew who loves that song!! Thanks a bunch, Lauren!

Hey Lauren I’m 67 and just bought an electric guitar about 2 months ago. I been watching you just about everyday. Trying to be patient but it can get frustrating at times. But anyway just want to thank you. You make it look so easy
