Just noticed that two of Hotel Transylvania’s villains are named “Quasimodo” and “Esmeralda”, which are also the names of two of the Hunchback of Norte Dame’s heroes (and HoND is a DISNEY movie that came out well before Hotel Transylvania). I’m shocked that they somehow avoided a copyright claim from Disney for that.

At first I was confused about Flint Lockwood being on here but yeah that actually does make sense once you listen to that part. I totally agree with pardoning him. He had an extremely rough childhood constantly being bullied by classmates like Brent and having his mom die. He doesn’t have the best relationship with his dad either as he and his dad both struggle with understanding the others hobbies, science and inventing for Flint, and fishing for the dad. Both do make attempts to understand each other better by the end of the first film. Flint also never really meant to cause any harm and once he saw the harm in his invention he immediately tried to fix it. Those are just his actions in the first movie btw.

Dracula just wanted to keep his daughter safe. He didn't mean to hurt her in any way, and he isn't bad dad , he's just protective of her. But I think he should have explained to her why he didn't want her going out there or at least talk about his concerns with her

You know, Shelbourne's actions actually threatened the world. Also, the attempted murder charge feels more like it should be an assault charge.

I understand Dracula that he wants to keep Mavis safe, but lying to her could set a bad example for her.

Cannibals in the Disney canon? Oogie Boogie - beneath his burlap sack, he consists of numerous pests, including at least one snake(his tongue), and it's mentioned on the soundtrack that he makes "snake and spider stew", confirming that he eats his own kind, or is at least content with the idea.
