Texas is the most complete team in the tournament. Disu can pass, score, and breakdown zones. Hunter and Carr are very good playmaking AND scoring guards. Cunningham is a smaller big that can stretch the floor. Allen is a nightmare matchup and Sir’Jabari is an X factor 3 and D…I’m not saying they’re the best team, but they have all the right pieces to win this thing.

As a Texas Longhorns fan I am very happy that the Longhorns escaped with the win in this game!! I hope the final four is Fairleigh Dickinson versus Michigan State and Arkansas versus Texas and I still hope that the Texas Longhorns win the whole tournament!!

Now see. That's what I'm talking about Texas. Bending but don't break mentality. We had a nice lead. Penn state came back ,went up by 4 with a few minutes left and the Longhorns smacked them right back. A lot of top seeds been caving under pressure. We showed a lot of grit. Penn state yall got a real good team. Yall fought to the end. Good thing there was only 3 seconds left when we gave up that 4 point play. LETS GO BABY!!

PSU fan here that lives in Austin. As heartbreaking as this was bc of what could’ve been if they would have been able to hold on after taking the lead, this was so much fun. The end of season run that culminated in a trip to the B1G championship game to the dismantling of A&M, this team really was fun to watch. It had been so long (outside of the Covid cancelled tourney season) since they were a force in the tourney, the ride to this point was well worth the disappointing ending.

Love the versatility of Texas. PSU plays with 4 guards, and Texas answers with 4 guards. Disu was a beast.
