  • Since WWII, the United States has started 201 wars, overthrew 36 foreign leaders, killed or attempted to kill 50, dropped bombs in 30 countries, interfered in 86 foreign elections, and established a staggering 800 overseas military bases. To make the world safe for democracy, the US has caused the deaths of tens of millions of people in its conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria. The CIA was involved in covert operations that resulted in mass killings of communists in over 22 countries. 500,000 to 2,000,000 Indonesian civilians disappeared in 1965-1966. The Chinese military has not been involved in any war or used its weapons to kill a single person outside its territory in the last forty-four years. For the richest and most powerful country, the scarcity mindset allows these problems to fester: Economic inequality, inflation, stagnant real wages for the last forty years, costly healthcare, expensive education system, student loan debt totaling $1.7 trillion with an average balance of $38,000, racial inequality, mass incarceration, the militarization of police, deteriorating infrastructure, housing affordability, homelessness, the opioid epidemic, and gun violence.
  • Before going to bed, my wife complained to me: "This Russia is such a bad country, if Ukraine wants to join NATO, that is their business and freedom, Russia has no right to intervene. This is just an excuse for Russia to attack Ukraine." I said nothing, got out of bed and went to the kitchen, before returning to bed with knife in hand. I said to my wife: "Let's go to sleep" When she saw the knife, my wife suddenly sat up and looked at me with wide eyes. "What are you doing? Sleeping with a knife?!" she exclaimed. I replied, "Don't worry, let's go to sleep. Besides, sleeping with a knife is none of your business and that's my freedom." My wife said to me: "You're crazy! How can I sleep when you're lying next to me with a knife? What if you accidentally cut me?" I answered: "Well, you don't even trust your own husband, how can you expect Russia to trust Ukraine?" Sleeping with a knife is like Ukraine joining NATO."
  • First rule in propaganda: Always accuse the other side of what you yourself are doing.
  • NATO is an extended arm of the US to contain. This explains the behavior of NATO.
  • @Diderot68
NATO should just stay the F out of our Asia
  • because NATO found out that they are losing the Ukrain war, then they have to find someone to blame.
  • you must give mad respect to china... they are not one of usa's lapdogs, answer to no one & beat to their own drum - hats off to powerful china!
  • @paulw4487
the warmongers should stay in the west
  • So China is a war enabler but NATO isn't? LMAOOOO This is the funniest, most nonsensical reporting i've seen. Well done CNBC
  • They overestimated China, it's India that is backing Russia squarely. India provide hard currencies to Russia by buying Russia oil and coal. India also provide labor for the war, including frontline fighters.

They are tired in making chaos in middle east ,now they want to bring it in east asia 😭😂i want peace in asia contenint please stay (west in your contenint)
  • @MDin5001
NATO consist of all the EU countries should NOT come to Asia.
  • NATO. Count your blessings while China, Russia, N. Korea & Iran haven't sign their security pact
  • Strangely enough, Turkey a NATO country also supplies dual use equipment to Russia. India still buys Russia oil and makes good money on petro-refineries and by selling oil back to EU countries. The USA, who sanctions Russia the most, is still buying uranium from Russia. Why then NATO did not call out these countries for supporting Russian war in Ukraine??

what is the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation doing in a region 20,000 km away by sea in south east Asia. I don’t think Germany, France and Hungary will support NATO military involvement in South East Asia. Does NATO and the US want to invade China? Or is it just to defend Taiwan. If so understand that this struggle will most probably last for a hundred years. The country that endured 100 years of humiliation will be willing to struggle a 100 years for Taiwan. US lasted 8 years in Vietnam, 20 years in Afghanistan. Should Trump win the elections and ‘abandons’ Ukraine will NATO still be as enthusiastic in being involved in the conflict over Taiwan. That Island is 150 kms from the Chinese mainland. Australia and New Zealand is 7500 kms away from China. The US is 12,000 kms from China. South East Asia has its own culture and is not really that western orientated Malaysia, Indonesia and the Muslim population of the Philippines add up to 308 million vs Philippines 115 million. Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar are not west facing either. Japan and South Korea are stalwart supporters of the West. South Korea is preoccupied with North Korea. Japan is facing significant demographic and economic challenges. India given its bromance relationship with Russia is likely to be neutral and have a foot in both camps . South East Asian NATO right now seems infeasible and unlikely except for Lone Ranger US and Tonto Japan🤔 Come to think of it it’s more Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid😉
