I’m not saying that Pippin murdered his wife. But Pippin murdered his wife.
  • Who else found this guy one day and started to watch him ever since
  • I have to object that Audrey was "feeling confident" about the dive. From what I understand, she was pressured by her husband to do this dive, and if you've seen the video footage of her final dive, you can see how totally zoned out and empty she looks. People have speculated that she was in an abusive relationship, and I think that rings true. R.I.P. Audrey Mestre
  • Second story: 1. The husband was regularly criticized in the no-limits free diving community for being reckless, and had already the blood of two former staff members on his hands 2. The husband was responsible for all the safety in this particular dive 3. The husband was rushing this particular record attempt by not having enough stand-by divers and medical personal on-site and on-shore 4. The husband didn't want any other people inspecting the ascending balloon, when normal procedure would have at least two other people inspecting this absolutely crucial piece of equipment 5. The husband kept her under water for a couple additional minutes trying to resuscitate her... under water 6. The record holder at that point was the husband Yeah, I really wonder what happened...
  • @cam2926
As soon as he starts a story with the word “diver”, RIP to that person
  • @handle_1969
Yeah pippin wouldn’t let anyone else inspect his wife’s gear then insists on performing cpr underwater? Give me a break, he killed her.
  • @eracli0
I love how you describe the lives of these people who have passed. You’re so respectful and sympathetic. Really keeps them alive.
  • @PerturaboIW
"This machine does not know the difference between metal and flesh. Nor does it care"
  • @kaitlyngreatlyn
Let me get this straight, wife tries to beat husband's record. Husband is the only one to check her equipment, other people realize that something is wrong (not him who is apparently a professional), and only the husband gets to resuscitate her? Yeah, something ain't right here.
  • @basedboomer5912
Note to self: Never allow the husband to be the only inspector of life-saving equipment.
  • @Alimagify
I was a plastics nurse a few years ago. Do you know how many people we had with mangled hands, digits amputated etc from machinery accidents. It's scary how often accidents happen
  • Regina's story reminds me of when I worked at Nestle. They didn't train people half a crap and ended up with me having my hand crushed and them thinking they were going to show me a safety video and trying to back date the form I had to fill out so I couldn't sue. Like I couldn't read
  • @cassini4052
Even if Audrey's husband didn't murder her on purpose, he still contributed to her death through negligence at the very least. Why he never was held accountable for that negligence is beyond me.
  • "Top 3 places you can't go & people went anyways"- Man goes in his back yard
  • @dylansmith880
Story 3 is right up my alley. I work maintenance at a tier 1 supplier for European cars: Mercedes, BMW, VW, Audi, ect. The company should have had a lock-out/tag-out procedure along with a safety switch on the door tied to the e-stop circuit along with signage stating the dangers and qualified entry signage. These companies always want to save a dollar and cut corners… it is despicable.
  • @KatouToast
The third story really resonated with me. I have first hand experience with robots like were described, including being stuck by them on 2 different occasions. Once was my own fault, but on both occasions the place I was working had no rules about lock out/ tag out and absolutely should have. I should have known better, but at the time I was barely 18 and had NOT been trained at all. Many times, I was also expected to just figure out maintenance issues myself, despite absolutely no training. No company's bottom line is worth risking your own life. I hope even one person reads this and it helps them keep from making such a fatal error, just please always be more careful than is asked of you. It could mean the difference between life and death if you aren't careful
  • @user-tk3ou5ru1n
The husband in the #2 story literally killed his wife. He didn't follow protocol with her safety equipment He didn't have the required staff on board during the dive He kept her under water for TWO MINUTES extra All the factors that caused her death has HIS fault (Some lovley people comments have have mentioned some things I did not think of. I'd reccomend you check it out)
  • @jeepliving1
Audrey: "I'm going to try to break the free dive record." Pippin: "You mean MY record?" Audrey: "Yes." Pippin: Audrey: "What do you think." Pippin: "Great. I'll help you."
  • These stories make me horribly uncomfortable but I can't stop watching 😅
