Jennifer set a five-year goal to move into her tiny home before she had her 50th birthday. She spent that half-decade raising her two sons through school while researching every angle of her future living space. All of the detailed planning and organizing paid off when she downsized into her off-grid capable tiny home just before her birthday goal.
Sitting broader than a typical street-legal tiny home, her 10 ft wide space provides a welcoming layout with an open feel. The beautiful master bedroom has an 8ft long storage closet and a bed with a hinge that lifts, giving even more use beneath. The bathroom is extra spacious, holding a gorgeous shower, composting toilet, and a LG Wash Tower. Below the loft is a unique office nook perfectly hidden with a sliding door disguised as the ladder. The kitchen is U-shaped giving this tiny house a charming vibe with a couple of bar stools and a clear view out of the sink window. Jennifer has a huge 21ft solid wood pallet for a porch where she invites friends over for coffee sunrises or beer sunsets to maximize her space.

This lady should be designing tiny houses for ‘real’ people!! This home is amazing, and has real functionality and beauty. The shower, kitchen and storage, including the closet are true genius, I think. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! Now THIS tiny house is so livable! A real bedroom. She didn’t compromise her spacious living. The 10 foot wide floor plan makes all of the difference . In my estimation, this tiny house is perfect.

I've been watching tiny home videos for about 4 years now, since my son was little, and this build is by far my most favorite! I love the design! It's open, and bright, and feminine. It's so cozy yet spacious. And I love the fact that she has fur babies occupying the space with her. I love it, love it, love it! 🥰😍😊

Absolutely one of the best tiny homes I have seen! So well designed and you can really feel that easy homey feeling of comfort and relaxation! Love this tiny house, since it is wider it feels more like a home. The floor level bedroom,, the living and kitchen are really great. You used your five years wisely it shows in your house plan. Kudos. Thanks for sharing

This house is phenomenal! I love the kitchen design, her living room area with the feature wall and that she made her main floor bedroom (yay for main floor bedrooms!) and bathroom nice and roomy. You can tell she put a ton of thought into every single space. My favorite spot was the hidden work area. When she slid the ladder wall over I was whaaaaaaaat?!

Beautiful design. A bedroom you can stand in, proper clothing and shoe storage and it looks like a home, not a corridor! Plus the comfortable guest space. Love the idea of going tiny but don't want to live in a corridor or feel like my bed is a coffin. Well done!! Will be stealing lots of these ideas :)
