When watching this episode, from 10:18 to 27:54, I recommend that you hold up your phone or be on your emulator to use the video as a checklist for your account. That way you'll be a lot more engaged by comparing the video against your account. This will be the longest episode of the Arkpedia series (30 whopping minutes!). Subsequent episodes will be down to less than or around 10 minutes each for easier watching. Thanks to my editor, Pepp, again for working on this video with me for the past TWO MONTHS to make this come true. Also, have a read at the article I wrote for LDPlayer and also download LDPlayer now! “You should build Kroos" Yes, Kokodayo is actually a 10 star must build EIther way, thanks Kukki for this guide!
  • @zeferinix
Melantha is actually a 6 star. The missing 3 stars are hiding behind the 3 stars you see.
  • @ramses3033
Despite the fact that Kal'tsit is indeed a ST medic, it still hurts to see how Aak has a branch of his own but she still isn't officially marked as Harmacist
  • @meestur6210
This is an extremely useful guide for integrated strategies. Coming from a 2-year player, i find that my acc is stacked with E2'd 6 stars, but my 4's are lacking. Thanks kukki!!

Watch this guide as a newbie to get the ideas of which ops to build ✗ Watch this guide as a veteran and see your ops get praise ✓

Building the right squad determines how fast you'll be progressing as a new player. I wish I this video was out when I was still learning the game lol. This would totally help out new players set a foundation for their accounts!

I remember my old days when I started playing AK, for AA snipers that I keep using in my runs was just Kroos and April until I reached chapter 7 and didn't realized that May/Jessica was better than April for AA, and I also called April's S2 trash just because I have to redeploy her again for the skill to active, until I reached the end game where I finally starting to read operators talents and skills, and that was the time I realized that I've been using April the wrong way until chapter 7

I remember back when I first started the game, my friend who introduced the game to me, suggested on building at least 2 operators of each class, 2 snipers, 2 defenders, 2 guards, 2 medics, etc. I feel that was a pretty good advice, I wasn't limited to what operators to build, and I ended up with a pretty good variety

I've been playing for a year now and I'm lvl 96 with a fully built squad of 5 and 6 stars yet I still want to watch this because I love this guy and all he does for the Arknights community. I cant wait for the rest of this series to see how I can enjoy this game even more than I already am.
  • @Kaes.R
Oh my this looks well made and professionally made like a perfection... Hope to see more despite me being 120 doktah A but of corrections for medics... Dont build kaltsit for your regular ops healing operators, NEVER... Bcs she's meant to be dealing damage instead lmao
  • @hanfighter9237
i don't know how much it took you to do it. but it really feels like you worked really hard on it. respect <3
  • @seancooksey4013
Really needed this as a gacha vet who’s been on Arknights a few months. Game has different progression from most. Been having a ton of fun with getting different types of ops leveled. Very well designed by HG and Yostar IMO

Im thouroughly impressed by this video, i honestly want to thank you. I answer questions for beginners on the subreddit almost every day, a lot of questions, and ive seen the same things quite a lot. your opening to this video from second one to the rainbow6 characters anaology is so perfect a mindset and ethos to bring into this game and im so happy to see someone else sharing that kind of attitude to new players. This is a really really deep game, with a huge breath of content to cover, teach, mentor, and provide insight on. Seeing lots of new players fall into the clear-guide dependancy hole, and not really know how to take full reigns of the game and its mechanical depth for themself has always pained me, and ive wanted to do a video series just like this myself, covering things from your first squad, the importance of dp and deployment order, all the way to splitboxing tutorials or how to approach creating a low-op challenge team for a stage. Im limited in my means to do so (only a phone, no pc) so im genuinly happy, relieved even, to see a big member of our community starting something that looks to be very much the same if not identical to my idea. genuinly thank you so much, loved the video, i agreed with all your major points and i think the foundational branch concept was a great way to approach such a daunting topic. I know im just a random viewer, but since ive wanted to do this kind of series myself, if you ever wanted another person to bounce ideas or writing off of, id be happy to help. I usually do low-op cc challenge videos, so i think ive got a good grasp on the technical depth of the game, and really understand how every operator can find their best day in the sun with a proper doctor behind them. fantastic job and looking foward to more from this series☆
  • i absolutely LOVE the way you scripted and presented this video, and this makes me super excited for the later episodes. this is definitely one of your finest work
  • @RefaTheGreat
Great guide! As a minor addition, I'd say that Click basically counts as a Standard caster for the purposes of this guide (and is definitely one of the better ones to build for that purpose). Looking forwards to more videos in this series!
  • @quellavenix1262
I am no longer in the stage where I have to build foundation operators anymore, but I know if this video came out back when I first started I would be breezing many more stages early on.
  • @dima_yeon
This video is phenomenal beyond words! I can definitely imagine my early player self eating this advice up. I will say, though — I'd argue that the Hexer archetype can also be quite useful to new Doctors due to Hexers being a source of Arts damage and having the widest range in the game at five tiles, making them flexible and reliable. Granted, there are currently only three hexers (Gnosis, Shamare, Pramanix), and they may not be a 'necessity' due to their scarcity and higher rarities, however I feel like they at least deserved an honorable mention. All three are great in their own rights and would definitely give much support to newer Doctors. • Gnosis is one of if not the best crowd-control dealer that amplifies allies' damage and stops enemies completely in their tracks. • Shamare has huge ATK and DEF debuffs and both of her skills are viable for usage. She's very friendly towards new players in terms of difficulty usage. • Pramanix applies large DEF, RES and ASPD debuffs which helps new players to dish out and tank more damage — and she can attack two enemies at once at E2! I'd also like to mention that Kafka is a very new player friendly Executor, second only to Gravel; Kafka requires absolutely zero investment (and I mean *zero*, many recommends to just have her at E0 LVL. 50 for lower DP costs), and her burst of Arts damage alongside with the Sleep debuff can really help out new players in a pinch. I would bring up Ayerscarpe and the fact that he has more controllable and higher overall DPS than Lappland, however her Silence debuff is without a doubt an amazing addition that pushes him off the edge. I'd also mention that Wandering Medics have great merit — the Berries in particular — due to their wide healing range and their future relevance in later chapters due to Elemental Damage. Besides that, though, I agree with all the things you've said so far! Great job, Kukki!
  • @tmarshman1200
Great video Kukki, very informative and useful. Now new players won't feel overwhelmed or lost as much as I did anymore!
  • @temoorashraf
Kukki I love your content. There are so many amazing Arknights content creators and you are by far my favorite. And massive shoutout to the editor, these videos are always so slick and clean. Plus, you can absolutely tell that a massive amount of effort and love went into making these.
