most legacy automakers sh*t their pants at the modest slowdown in EV sales growth and abandoned their plans before ever delivering a great EV, and when the sales drop-off can largely be attributed to expensive credit 🤦🏼♂️ This won’t age well
-
cannot believe it took that long to make an electronic clutch
-
EV demand has slumped… until gas prices goes up. Then the cycle will continue. Have we seen this before?
-
I don't own an EV and don't own Tesla shares...combustion vehicle sales began their decline in 2018/19. Electric vehicle sales have been growing since then. Hanging onto combustion sales is going to murder these guys. They are putting money into a contracting market. "Customers aren't buying EV's"...wait a second...customers aren't buying gas cars either.
-
Gee. Ya think 7-9% interest rates are killing sales?

Thanks for a great and informative video. The news is always interesting and up to date.
-
Very informative report.

Your videos are always so informative, thanks for the new knowledge! 🔥😛

Stellantis is a slow dying entity. When Stellantis bites the bullet, everyone else moves up a notch.

The legacy OEMs are stupidly payingTesla nearly $4billion per year in "regulatory credits", thus paying for Tesla's new factories, as they have all along. FORD and GM could have been on the other side of this equation but they made other choices. They are very badly run, myopic companies.

Stellantis... what a joke! Keep paying your C suite and patting each others back. Their products look like they came from 1970s, and tech is from 1800s. Just improving the in car entertainment can only get you ahead so much. If I had money to invest on the big 3, Stellantis would be the last. My money would only go to Mr Carlos and not to increase profits by improving their products.

If Ford would quit bean counting and cheapening their vehicles they might decrease their recalls. 2 on my 2021 Explorer ST. One those is because the brainiacs de contented one of the two axle bolts. Guess what, they started breaking, massive recall. All because they “saved” 20 cents on a bolt.

Cadillac Lyric is a really nice offering. Cadillac is the best of gm.

I saw a vid on Hyundai Kona's latest software update that activates Euro spec geo-fencing and geo-speed control. I would be interested to know if all cars made now(2016 and up I am informed) have this "hidden" option...❓

Reality sets in

Are there out-of-site tariffs on the hybrid in the USA and Europe versus EVs?
-
nobody has been able to predict ice/ev/hybrids so far....so their change of direction means nothing really.

JANUARY to June, "EV sales slow down", Q2 results - EV sales up. July "EV sales slow down"
