I was so close to visiting Japan at one point. I'm a Motion Capture actor and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to work in Japan.

Ah I could watch these videos forever. Would love to visit Little Tokyo but its a bit far from the east coast for me. I find Newbury comics to have a a good selection for things that are a bit more obscure than what Barnes and Noble carries

Im telling you, when i saw the D.Gray-Man artbook, i froze!!! This is like the thing that got me into anime and manga! I adore anything related to D.gray-man and its sooooo hard to find anything anywhere, not to mention a small country in the balkans. Holy moly that made my day!

Used to go to little Tokyo all the time with anime club at USC when I was in grad school. I went back for USC’s homecoming last month and had so much fun. Having recently been to Japan for my birthday in October, it was cool to compare little Tokyo to big Tokyo with both being so fresh in my head. Actually got a vid I’m working on for it rn.
