Anyone else think this was one of the most underrated films in recent years?
  • @golagaz
This movie will be noticed in 10 years more as one of the masterpieces of history.
  • @cryptidian3530
This movie was Oscar worthy for it's cinematography, music and male actor in a leading role, easily. Probably wouldn't win because the Oscars are all politics, but it should have been nominated.

Have seen this movie 5 times and every time I love it more. I can't watch it without dropping some tears. It is truly beautiful.

Absolutely one of the best films I have ever seen and the music is top notch. The music sets the tone of any film, and Max Richter's score hits a bulls eye. Christian Bale is an incredible actor.

One of the most raw, powerful and devestating scores I've heard in recent years
  • Be honest we all came here after hearing 1:00:50 as he was getting on the train at the end .. such a beautiful score
  • Very evocative music, and one of the most brutal openings to a film I have ever seen. It actually stunned me a little.

This movie just blew me away! Visceral, beautifully shot and fine acting performances...What a movie!
  • @jude999
I fell in love with Rosamund Pike in this movie.

Chief... Chief... Our treatment of the natives can not be forgiven. Please, accept this tobacco. Have mercy on us.
  • @TheBravoski
When he finds Tommy and Wills dead and he sees that Tommy finally 'moved on' Bales acting was so moving.
  • @Mary-gz1qw
This was an excellent movie - stellar performances!
  • There are a lot of outstanding scenes in this movie, same for the music, and I think the probably most fitting & emotionaly hitting is 50:48, the finale, when he realy needs to make sure that last guy is realy dead, Bale's character is fucking angry, but also very sad... that scene/music, and also the train one, of course... should've won at least 3 Oscars
