My buddies 6.7 Cummins gets a BD Screamer!! I have been wanting to get my hands on one of these turbos somehow for a while now and once I found out a friend of mine wanted to get a better turbo on his truck we were all over this. I didnt mention it in the video but all the parts in the video came from WWW.IBUILDMYDIESEL.COM and those guys were awesome, they made sure we got all the correct parts and fast. We have more work to do on this truck for sure but like I said in the video he isnt after a big number he just wants GOOD power and we are going to get it!!

    Just put this set up on my 2007.5. 4x4. So far so good, definitely 200 degree lower EGT. I plan on putting the Banks Monster intake on to wake this up. I pull 15k trailer daily for work and a Montana 36' 5th wheel for vacations. Truck always has a trailer on her back. Will see how long this turbo lasts, I have no engine power mods. I took of the Front Right tire, wheel well, battery tray and battery. Only half hour more and it opened up the whole side of the engine for access. I even crawed up through wheel well area for much easier access to Everything!

    What was the final verdict of the hardware? Did you need any of the items from the additional hardware kits that you bought or was everything supplied with the new exhaust manifold and turbo?

    I'm definitely gonna look into this setup, does the vgt need calibration? Did you notice the exhaust brake hitting any harder? I've been looking into upgrading my charger but I refuse to get rid of the exhaust brake.
