Adrian became something that we hoped he wouldn’t become
  • He could have BEEN ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTER!!! His back story is interesting, his father being the villain and him being the hero is interesting! Even his mother back story and what happen to her.

Bruh kagami's and mary's obsession with adrien makes chloe look so innocent 💀✋
  • Yes i would want someone to Make a reboot, because honestly this show just needs to restart, it has potential to be a really good story, but the writers just didn’t know to deliver it. I think the first thing the story would need is good writers
  • @sophiaho2341
it was so sad and disappointing to see Adrian one of the fan favorite turn into something dead just like the whole show itself
  • @sapphia4612
As you said, Adrien turned to someone who was once madly in love with ladybug to being mad with ladybug for not being in love with her. And see, I don't like him changing his cat noir Persona to meet ladybug standards, it is ruining the whole loving the orginal self. Then how was Chloe, Lila or kagami wrong? Mari is doing the same.

How forced romance narratives can result in character assassinations.
  • That's so true Adrien is a wasted potential character in the show and he is one of my favorite characters. Adrian deserves better writing and Marinette and other characters too.
  • @m1nA.0.
First chloe now Adrian, basically blondes

I’m glad that Cyrus talks about this „selfish-love“ because i’m seeing it in a lot of shows/books and it’s always shown as this „perfect lovely cute couple“ but in truth is often a selfish love but no one seems to care. Thanks Cyrus for highlighting this kind of lOvE

Maybe I overthink, but I feel that Kagami being weird wad done intentionally. Because Kagami + Adrien worked too well and the writers (or... One of them) noticed that Kagami steals the spotlight only Marinette is allowed to marinate in.

I feel very bad for the voice actors of MLB. Some of them are really good at voice acting (especially since Marinette’s and Hawkmoth’s are also VA for Genshin Impact), so it’s a huge shame they are letting all of the potential go to waste for a show that has one of the worst director who should have never become a T.V writer because of how well he treat the characters in his own show.
  • I think the Miraculous team saw fans coming up with the Sentimonster theory and decided halfway through the show that it might be cool to implement it without actually thinking about how it would affect the show.
  • Dog: Barks Cyrus: Shut up! Translation Dog: You're being too negative! Cyrus: I only speak the truth!

The place where Adrien shines the most is in fanfiction. In them, he realizes his mistake and selfishness, move on form Ladybug and realize he was in the wrong. It's also the only place were we got BACKSTORY of him and actually understand him. Also in them Gabibitch is throw in prison and that something that i love <3. So fanfics creator ty for doing what the show should have done 🏃‍♀️

I've always interpreted CN's self-entitlement not as such, but as frustration. He wasn't mad because he was jealous that LB was spending time with other heroes... he was frustrated because, despite being her earliest partner and having being chosen by Fu like she had, he's always being kept out of the loop. In order to be introduced to Master Fu and learn all the things concerning the miraculous that Marinette had been already told, he had to throw that fit and threaten (the first of many times) to quit. Yup, it was irresponsible of him to do that during an emergency, but I can understand his frustration. On paper he's equal to Ladybug, but he's treated as a reserve member of the team. Same happens in S4: Rena Rouge chose her words poorly there, she could've told him "I can't explain to you right now, the enemy maybe listening", instead of "there's no place for you in this plan". A couple scenes later Marinette - as a civilian- makes things worse by telling him to just stay out of the action. That probably made him feel completwly unwanted. Again, he throws a tantrum, but he's also 14. And that superhero life is his only escapade from his otherwise suffocating life. They never told him about Rena Furtive, as if he wasn't to be trusted. In "Hack-San he found out LB probably confessed her own ID to whoever was behind Scarabella's mask, meaning she's broken the one rule she always refused to break for him: unmasking herself to another hero. This subplot revolved around trust. I was pretty invested in it. It reminded all the times in S1 when she'd tell him "trust me". They barely knew each other back then. Now, she didn't trust him. Ironic. Then "Kuro Neko" came along, and that subplot was completely changed. He wasn't frustrated for being constantly left out at all: it was about jealousy! It was about him being clingy and immature! Except we skip to S4 finale, and he suddenly complains she didn't trust him and has kept him at distance. My feeling? There's not enough communication within the writing team. They tend to write pieces of the same story arcs without exchanging notes, which brings to these inconsistencies.

Mlb is just pure chaos. Left the fandom long ago and won't ever come back. I still sometimes watch the early episodes for pure nostalgia. You're literally the only reason I'm still up to date with the show

I know you say this is unintentional character assassination, but I’d argue it might have been totally intentional. I remember how people where alway wanting more development for Adrien, nothing really unreasonable, just treat him like he actually was the secondary protagonist and not just a sidekick. But Tomas would pretty much accuse people of being misogynist for not liking Marinette. Maybe he learned his lesson from Chloe. He made him worst but wouldn’t make a big deal or call him out to get people to hate Adrien.
